Looks like the Target Canadian Buying team probably got fired

I'm not really surprised that they aren't doing too well. You can't expand a company of that size to a completely new market without some significant support. Like having an actual website where customers can actually buy stuff from, not just some cute commercials with Spot on a moped. Every time I go in one of them, the aisles are just as empty as Zellers. The good news is this might bring out some good deals lol

I've scored a few decent Target Lego deals, but without a website and regular re-stocking, I don't know how they can compete.  And I'm not just talking Lego, the Target near me has shortages in a few aisles.

Personally i love the look of the stores, much nicer looking than the average Walmart, but i would agree their stores always seem to be barren in both products and customers. The one near me is in a terribly small and dinky mall that has a pretty poor reputation, and i swear one time i was in there i was the only customer. You could hear a pin drop.

Their LEGO clearances so far have been nice (when they actually have any LEGO stock -.-).

Sort of rooting for them as i prefer them over Walmart.

Also forgot to add i really like Target's self checkout lines! Walmart's in my area had these a few years ago, but got rid of them all just as quick as they put them in. Guess they might have been having theft issues or something.
