SuperGeek Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Hi, this is Dave under a more private account name. I never introduced myself but thought I'd take a moment to say thanks for a great site and community. I'm an uber comic and Star Wars geek and am a collector first and investor second. I'm in my late 30s and just got into LEGOs for the very first time as a hobby two months ago when my man, The Flash, finally got his own mini-figure. I had no idea how awesome LEGOs were, even for adults or how amazingly well they held their value. I am building a relatively small to medium sized Brickfolio, mostly in licenses I am familiar with. Thanks again! See you in the forums! Dave Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker Quote

lobo1969 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Welcome, and if you are a true comic geek, I hope you are currently reading 'Uber'! :) Quote
Veegs Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I think we can all agree that someone who is a collector first is very welcome - someone has to open and build sets to make Lego investing work! 1 Quote
TheOrcKing Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Welcome, SuperGeek.I think we can all agree that someone who is a collector first is very welcome - someone has to open and build sets to make Lego investing work!Yep. That is one reason why I (eventually) build all the sets I own; helps drive up the scarcity. Ha. 1 Quote
