FYI: Saw 31R6 at Lego Store on this set.

I was at a Lego store yesterday, and they had plenty in stock, also they returned to SAH. I think I will gamble & wait until Oct for x2 VIP & holiday promo

I missed some of the discounted ones recently, so that gives me hope knowing that I could find a good discount before Oct. If not I will keep the hope that they will still have them in the stores for the Oct. promos, and if they don't oh well I guess I will just miss the bus on this one...

Doing the same. I don't think it's much of a gamble though. SC is going to be around for a bit longer...

I don't expect it to go before Christmas = January 2017 at the earliest.

This puppy will retire when it snows on Tatooine.  I expect that to be sometime in November.

Backorder purchase from a few weeks back arrived today: 24R6

TLG did not send any to Target yesterday. Don't see it at any other retailers either. Looks like LEGO Shop at Home is it unless they do another production run.

Just noticed LEGO Shop at Home got a new website. Any chance they wiped the blacklist clean as well? lol

Production code with "R" letter seems to say that they come from Europe.

First solution : SC is stopped , they bring the remaining stock from Europe.

Second solution : The US factories no longer make SC ( weak global demand ) only European factory still manufactures this set.

If they came from Europe, there will be no piece count on the front of the box.

Last time I checked 5 seconds ago, there are no USA LEGO factories.

has anyone ever documented even a single european box sold at USA shop at home?

besides not having a piece count, don't they have different warning labels?  seems preposterous that TLG would waste money moving small number of European boxed sets from Europe to USA just to fill a few extra orders.

I agree, not saying we are right, but i still agree. Plus few sets (tumbler?) retired at different times in Europe vs USA, if they were moving them across the pond, they would be retiring at the same time I think.

i'm not saying i'm right either - TLG doesn't follow any apparent logic.  i'm curious whether this process actually goes on shipping stuff across the pond.

in SC related news, the 2 I ordered from Walmart last week for site to store showed up completely smooshed with seals popped and loose bags floating around the shipping box.  i wish i had a photo of the sales clerks face when she saw the condition of the boxes.  i did not accept them. SC ain't no SSD.

Rumor has it that its triple VIP points for SW sets in the EU this Friday (and weekend).  In the UK LEGO Shop at Home is really the only place you can get this set AFAIK.

All guesswork really but this might be the last chance to get this one at a "decent" discount.  Interested to see if it goes OOS.

I got a 23 R6 that has a nice puncture wound on the face. One cloudy seal. The weight 3119 grams. BP and BS listed weights are somewhat off from each other.

I hate it when that happens. Every time I have to open the box and every time I do, it ends up being complete and I opened the box for nothing.
