I think this has gone, its just how many are left in europe, could this be another tumbler but with no retiring soon tag, who knows but i would say if people want 1 or more of them they should probably buy them soon. Martae54
Yeah it seems clear Europe has them and we don't. Out of 51 for sell on eBay only 23 are North America sellers, As far as I can tell. Edited August 24, 2016 by Martae54

Well I buckled down and was able to get two by doing an over the phone order with the nearest LEGO store. Witch is in Chicago. Clerk was surprised cause she said they hardly sell any of that set. I know thats not true everywhere but a good sign that it could be going out for real.

That just doesn't mean much, especially for Americans. I have no problem believing this one has retired. Last Winter actually would have been more or less "on schedule". I didn't buy any, of course, since I think most lego sets, especially UCS (quite a reversal from the past, but the reseller surge has wrecked profit margins on exclusives), are pretty much a money pit given current market conditions (check out ol' 10240, for example) and the steadily rising cost of business (especially shipping). I like the model and made good money selling 10144 for close to $400 back in the day. I'm a bit skeptical this set can deliver as the earlier one did, though. I paid $100 each for my 30 10144's. Never saw that kind of discount for 75059. Also, jawas remain available in multiples in a cheap set that should be available for another year or so. That's a bit problematic for 75059, I think, since when I was selling 10144's (with three jawas each) for ~$380, jawas were selling individually on eBay for around $45 each. How much will people pay for Luke's uncle?

BarryZola
I've been considering dropping a grand or 2 on this. However, it just looks like a bit of a turd (for display purposes at least). Like a fellow countryman said a bit earlier, good look to those who want to go out and hold a good amount. It won't be me though.
Martae54
I don't know what you guys mean .. IMHO it is One of the few display vehicles which has a WHOLE lot a playability. This set also displays spot on to its movie counterpart vehicle! I also really love the sound it makes when you roll this beast on those tank tracks it just sounds so menacing ! If you don't like the way the sandcrawler looked in the movie ok.. But you can't says it doesn't do a VERY good job of portaying the movie vehicle.
