exciter1
Not risking it with your wife's account? I read that as you were saying you buy stuff with BA's wife's account.
No More Monkeys
I read that as you were saying you buy stuff with BA's wife's account. Well, there were dirty looks involved yesterday, as far as i remember, so she is fair game

Neosphinx
It would surprise me if the entire modular building series would be gone. It would be more likely that Super Heroes would be gone as it's not part of their core product and they just (or intended anyways) to get it back on their feet. I feel more like what feed said. Less modular building series available, more in the genre of the fairground mixer, cars, etc. Or perhaps a split up and rebranding of the entire Creator theme into subs... cdenmier
So, how many does Amazon have this time around? Almost forgot, thanks for the heads up! Looks like I picked the right morning to set up e-mail alerts on this thread (don't usually like those flooding the ole inbox).
No More Monkeys
The big question is... Is Ed Mack buying??
chipbee
I was thinking along the same that the modular building series may be coming to an end, or at least a pause of several years. AFOLs may be coming to a stage whereby they are fatigued of modular building collection. So a major shift to something else could be good strategy. Anyway I notice that number of current huge Star Wars sets seem to be increasing as we get closer to new trilogy, so there's competition for shelf space. Girls related series like friends and princess lines are also growing rapidly, and something has to go. If this is going to happen, it is actually great news for TH and GE hoarders. tonysbricks
No and no. Something wicked this way comes. My best guess is still they lack capacity and are cutting out slower sellers and items that aren't necessarily for kids (in order to get back to their base). Sauromosis
The worst possible interpretation of Ed's comments would be that Lego is revamping the modulars and will come out with updated versions of all of them. You gotta help us out Ed, you started this madness on Town Hall.

trekgate502
I found an interesting quote an essay on the Internet it to scrap this phrase is a title to an essay they wrote where it said it is time for me to be to stop being my own worst enemy time for me to break through perhaps that means modular line is not as profitable as other lines just like the boardgame division wasn't and it's time for my go to make major changes such as getting out of the modular line that's my guess
