Val-E
ohhh I thought maybe you had got them for retail or less. I wonder if it is still possible - stock has just about dried up.
makr
Well let me put it this way: a) Buying Town Hall Buying over the Internet c) Buying at or below MSRP You can only pick 2. Of course I wouldn't mind paying less, but it's not a bad price at the moment. They are selling for way more in the US already and for more than
Val-E
I already cleaned out all the places I could find them at MSRP or below. I know of one shop that has 2 and is selling them for well above MSRP. I am sure it will still be possible to find them in some out of the way places but I have reached my number so I won
Duck360198
I definitely wouldn't lose any sleep over it. You'd probably only net about $30 from eBay after fees/shipping etc. Better long term hold. Instead think about where else you can focus those funds. Perhaps on another modular or ToO. You sound like quite the half empty glass kind of guy The only noob thing I see here is that you bother about mistakes that weren't obvious back when you made them. You got 5 THs that gained like 30% in a single month, doesn't sound too bad to me. But if you really need to feel bad, you should rather bother about not having mass bought them for MSRP just a few months ago. You guys are right. I was able to get other purchases with that "loss." My thing is that it was the perfect one to open up and display with the others. Ahhhh well, I won't lose sleep over it. Thanks for calming me down. :)
Val-E
My supplier has dug up yet another TH at rrp! This thing just won
Cross
If you can find this set at MSRP- anywhere in the world- I would increase my acquisition number to EVERY TH available at MSRP. This set is long-term gold. Buy every one you can, and all you can, should the opportunity present itself.

Jules_K
I just found a toy store locally that has a swag of these at 10% above RRP, even though supply of this set on the secondary market in Australia is greater than GE, I think I'll still load up. Just after Christmas you could still get these at certain Toyworlds at RRP and I even managed to get one at 20% off! It has dried up significantly in the last few weeks so I would think getting them for even 10% above RRP would be a no brainer. I know that Toyworld Geelong still had one a couple of weeks back at RRP. Care to name the toy store after you get your fill?? ;)

I think that may be why prices haven't shot up like they have in the US, there has still been some availability in stores in Australia. Sure as soon as I've got my fill I'll give details. Val-E
Just finished doing inventory and decided to check out my TH seal codes. The majority are 34S2 but I also have a 44S3, an 08S4 and a 13S4. Anybody got any additional codes?

peterjames
Check the database:http://community.brickpicker.com/topic/10400-assumed-lego-factory-tape-seal-date-codes-for-set-boxes/?hl=assum There is only one Town Hall listed in there 46R3, tons of FB and GEs which tells you something. I have 23R4, 29R4 and 33R4 which were only bought recently here in AUS (the last of the retail stock)

toycrazedchris
Why do we think the seal codes are production dates? Maybe they are just ordinary packing dates? Just thinking out loud here. I think most people that pay attention to the codes already think this is the case and ToO recently seems to confirm this. Probably covered in the seal thread. Val-E
Only 1 left for less than 450 USD now and that seems to be the going rate on EBay too. At what price point wil you good members of the BP congregation start to unload your wares?
peterjames
They have only just dried up in Australia at retail and ebay prices are still reasonable considering the AUD has plunged recently to .78UShttp://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191434903557 This one would cost $350USD after conversion
Follows Closely
I will start to sell at $750.
