Bernard74
Just search for the set number (10224) and it should pop up. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met behulp van Brickpicker
MartinP
Just search for the set number (10224) and it should pop up. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met behulp van Brickpicker But that takes all the fun out of searching through all the different Lego sets available to buy!
MartinP
Was searching on LEGO Shop at Home today, and I noticed that the Town Hall is now available.
waddamon
Yes they filled all of my orders over the last few days. I am, waiting for my SSD orders to be filled. I actually orderd the SSD when it was in stock, but apparently they still backordered them. I had two Town Halls arrive yesterday. Awesome set, huge box. Bigger than the pet shop and grand Emporium. The set feels heavier too. I remember debating whether to get the Town Hall or the Grand Emporium for my personal collection on Black Friday last year and remember picking up both boxes. The Town Hall set felt heavier than the Grand Emporium.
tractorboy
I was surprised how light the GE and PS boxes were for their size. Lots of small parts I suppose. The SSDs however are heavy muthas.

The SSDs however are heavy muthas. Thats the reason I haven't stacked a few more. Just so ridiculous. I feel like it will be a disappointment if it doesn't get to 1000$. But I don't think it will so I am not sure I want 10-15 of them.
No More Monkeys
This is limit 2 at LEGO Shop at Home. PetShop and Palace Cinema are at limit 5. No way Townhall could retire before Pet Shop, right?

No More Monkeys
NMM it took 2+ yrs for you to find this thread? No, I just could not find any other reasonable thread for 10224, and did not dare to create the EOL one... yet...
Neosphinx
This is limit 2 at LEGO Shop at Home. PetShop and Palace Cinema are at limit 5. No way Townhall could retire before Pet Shop, right? Why not? The demand from us investors has been pretty low due to the rather high price tag. And with everyone investing in the fire brigade... perhaps Lego drew conclusion that it was a flop and shortened it's lifespan. In theory, it would not be possible for Town Hall to retire before Pet Shop, but as I see every day at my job, theory and practice are sometimes miles apart. For 2700 piece count, $200 is a bargain :-)
Neosphinx
For 2700 piece count, $200 is a bargain :-) I agree, but it was more expensive than the other modulars.

I don't think it is necessarily the high price tag, but that there are two modulars ahead in line to retire (GE & PS). I bet that as soon as the GE officially is gone sales of PS and TH will pick up, not only among investors but also Lego fans that are afraid of having to pay secondary market prices if they miss the boat. TheOrcKing
No, I just could not find any other reasonable thread for 10224, and did not dare to create the EOL one... yet...Please don't create a separate thread just for EOL. This one is big enough to handle all related set talk including future retirement speculation.
Sauromosis
Boy this one looks awesome but the build is intensely detailed. Astrid was trying to outdo Jaime and may have gone too far.
Neosphinx
What I heared today from a Lego shop employee? Town Hall is finished in january, togetther with Haunted House en GE. And yes, one could argue about what do they know about it, but it seems logical too.
zskid00
So Haunted House has until January? Not so sure about that. Though I do thank you for posting the information even if these sources seem to know about as much as we do. Neosphinx
So Haunted House has until January? Not so sure about that. It will be officially RETIRED then, didn't say they'll have stock of them. He told me he had 1 last order of HH incoming, a batch of 17 and had 1 in stock still. It's the only shop in Belgium
zskid00
I should probably look at the country since you are in Belgium and as you say the HH can still be found over there.

The markets America and EU differ somewhat so yes, it's not guaranteed, should the info about the HH be correct, that it will be for America too. biniou
Lego shop employee I think it may be interesting, when questionning an employee, to know for how long he was a lego employee. I would ignore any rumor from a lego employee hired less than 3 years ago, and doubt the words from the older ones.
