Leopard_7
Hey guys, So recently I found a small stash of fire brigades nestled away in a nearby store. I've seen a lot of discussion about the possibility of this set taking a long time to rise in price. The price for this set down under is $300 so I'm on the fence on if to buy as I have limited money to place in long term investing. Guess the question is, should I buy a couple to invest or would I be better placing my money elsewhere? (i.e. a few sopwith camels at $120 AUD). Guest TabbyBoy
First of all check what they are selling for locally on eBay now. UK prices have nearly doubled within a couple of months. Is AUD 300.00 really the RRP for a Fire Brigade there? If that's the case, I think the Sopwith Camel offers better value (in the UK it's FB @
legoaddiction
I think the boat has already left on this set. I would spend the money on items that are currently on sale with a near retire date. Having said that if I had found that store I would maybe buy just one for myself for my collection (to open) as I do not have any.
