sympster Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Hi there, I have a large (19 inch tall) Lego figure that I wish to sell. As far as I am aware they have never been sold, they are only acquired as a retailer stocking lego - they are used for store merchandising. Any idea how rare this is and how much it would be worth? Thanks Quote
holleman67 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 As much as one is willing to pay, if there haven't been any sold previously it's hard to put a price on it Quote
mcortez Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 One sold on ebay last month for just short of $200 including shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Lego-Display-Minifigure-/181304879495?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item2a369ce987 And another back in december at an undisclosed "best offer" http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-inch-HUGE-Large-LEGO-Man-w-brush-store-display-RARE-collectible-minifig-/301055584896?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item46184faa80&nma=true&si=U%252Bn3NNynahstBjUMEmTkuwRBR2w%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 1 Quote
glenbart Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I'd make an educated guess at 75-150 quid. If it was an old castle knight or spaceman you'd really have something, but there is nothing special about this town figure (other than the size) Is it meant to be a lego store employee??? Quote
iahawks550 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I love the word "quid". I wish we used quids. 2 Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I love the word "quid". I wish we used quids. Absolutely. Dollar is stupid. lol 1 Quote
Ed Mack Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Many large figures go for $300 or more if they are still new. Used ones will still fetch $150 or more. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote
rcdb1984 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I would pay good money for the same size ghost that they had at LEGOLAND Quote
Anakinisvader Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I love the word "quid". I wish we used quids. It's like saying "bucks" but more posh. 1 Quote

After you buy it you'll receive it in a small padded envelope. Quote
