dschooley
So, today I bought the following: - 5 pairs of the LEGO Star Wars Endor Rebel Trooper and Imperial Trooper & LEGO Star Wars Elite Clone Troopers and Commando Droid B battle packs from Walmart with the 2 for $20 special - 4 pairs of LEGO Ninjago Fangpyre Mech Play Set & LEGO Star Wars Desert Skiff Play Set from Walmart with the 2 for $29 special - 1 LEGO Star Wars 10225 R2D2 and 1 LEGO Creator Fire Brigade 10197 from Amazon with their sales - 1 Tower Bridge from LEGO LEGO Shop at Home with their Black Friday sale I was curious what others picked up today. I was pretty happy with my purchases, but I felt that have have done better in years past. Of course, this year I am dealing with more reality because of the information from this great site, where in the past it has all been feelings and not facts. :-)
Huskers1236
My purchases last night were very tame, just 2 Mini Modulars and a Winter Village Bakery from Shop at Home. Hopefully their server is back up in complete working order as VIP points weren't working last night, nor were orders showing the free Holiday Set or your 10% off. I would like to use my points for my next order today/tomorrow. EDIT: Walmart order is done. Helm's Deep, Uruk-Hai Army, and 2 Harry Potter little forest sets, not remembering the name of them, they were like $10. Barnes and Noble has a 30% off coupon good through the 25th, ours here in town stocks a fair amount of Harry Potter and LotR, I will probably pick up a Hogwarts Castle since they seem to be getting hard to get a hold of for a decent price. Will probably do another Shop at Home order and pick up a Diagon Alley(or 2) and Winter Village set.
LegoPodcaster
I stood in line at Target and got 6 of the Black Pearls.
BuckeyeFanDan
Just got back from the Lego store. Bought Dino Raptor Chase (5884), City Police Dog Van (4441) and Creator Transporter Chopper (7345) as Christmas gifts and a Winter Village Cottage for myself. My scratch-off card was only 10% though. Several people got the 20%. Oh well, better than nothing! Plus I got the free Holiday set (which I wanted) and the pick-a-brick box.
tormentalous
Went to the LEGO store at midnight and got the Quinjet at 10% off and got a 10% off scratch-off for Palpatine's Arrest. Got the Holiday set and a Holiday Pick-A-Brick as free gifts. Also picked up The LEGO Book, Ninjago: Character Encyclopedia, and Batman: Visual Dictionary on Amazon, all at least 40% off. tormentalous
I do have a dumb question, what is a "Holiday Pick-A-Brick"? It's just a box roughly about the same size as a small Pick-A-Brick cup that you fill up with bricks and elements from the Pick-A-Brick wall. Huskers1236
Hogwarts Castle at Barnes and Noble for $82. Used coupon, joined their club, and about ran out of the store before they figured out what had happened since the set is listed at 149.99 there. Nice job, I love it when that happens (the good deal, not necessarily the running). :-)

justgod
Placed five orders through S @ ****. Picked up a couple each of 10223, 3677, 9509, 40010 as well as a calender. Made sure each order was just over $150 to get the 10% discount. Also, I made sure to go back through BP on each order to get to LEGO Shop at Home to make sure this site gets all the credit it deserves! Brickarmor
I didn't buy squat from the dismal "sales". Almost placed the exact same order as Huskers1236 (2 Mini Mods & WVB) but just didn't have the oomph to go through with it. Went to Kmart instead and paid full price for some fresh Hobbit sets. Just now picked up an IS on Amazon. Holding my breath until Dec 26.
