Baseace Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Any idea how he did these? I was going to use these roads https://www.flickr.com/photos/intrastella/4792394643/in/set-72157624335614011/ until I realized I didn't know how to get tracks working with it.They appear to be 8x1 black bricks with the center line being made of 6x1 alternating black and white plate, layed as a brick wall on it's side. This could be interesting as you could add extra lanes with yellow 6x1 plates as well. The challenge would be any curved road sections, however we are in LEGOland... "We don't need no stinking curves." I really like how the roads and sidewalks look.To wrap the rails they used angle and wedge pieces. That is a lot of work, and it does look really nice.I wonder if the road plates would be cheaper than building. But, there would be a customizability conundrum the plates would create in the process... Hmm, it is interesting to ponder. Maybe it is time to stock up on long black bricks. Thanks for sharing the pictures! Edited May 28, 2015 by Baseace 1 Quote
