I ordered last week and still didn't get any order update or shipping info. I've ordered from TRU.ca before and had the order refunded, so just because it is still on theri website is no guarantee it will get shipped. Right now I'm ordering another two from my sister's place just in case this is truly going EOL. Other than that guy (with zero ebay feedback) from Vietnam who has sold several in the last couple days at around $170-180, most sellers are already getting close to $199 + tax Canadian. No brainer! I'm surprised Canadians haven't cleaned out the GE yet.

Given that I bought a storage unit to free up my garage and now my garage is full ahead, I should stop buying. Unless someone wants 10 10212 sets. legodelorean
Your time is running out. Do that pronto or get left behind. I think that is what I may try to purchase next. With these exclusives you can't really get a discount, right? You pretty much have to always pay full price?
legodelorean
I need to get the GE for sure. In what order of the Modulars do I need to start? GE came out in 2010 and the Pet Shop in 2011. I want to get the oldest first before it retires and then the next and so on.

You should stock up on the GE before any of the other ones.

I think my window is closing rapidly.

You can probably catch some window of availability online (like today at TRU very early in the morning), or I heard some Lego stores do still have them, so call the one nearby. And it is still entirely possible that Lego will do another production run in fall.
asharerin
And it is still entirely possible that Lego will do another production run in fall. Nope GE is done and no more will be produced. Fall is when the new modular comes out and they are making those now, not another run of GE. The only way the USA gets more GE is if they take them from Euro and Asia stores, ship them back to the warehouses, and then ship them to ******. America. Contrast this to SSD which are being made right now and will be in the USA Holiday 2014 catalog.

And according to the codes, they were not european leftovers

Wouldn't they loose money by doing something like this ?

From the info that other members here on brickpicker have put out on different posts, I think it's almost time for it to go eol. I think I might miss the boat on this one. Pet Shop might have to be my next purchase.
Veegs
Don't give up hope! There are definitely some still in the wild. Make some calls to the stores near you and see what you can turn up.

ponyboy9595
At Southgate mall in Edmonton and just bought 3 GE's in mint boxes. They still have a few left on the shelf and I'm not sure about the back. Dropped those three off at the car and can't leave...going back for at least one more. Lol

I thought it was odd that SSD was OOS at LEGO Shop at Home from the very day my Summer 2014 catalog arrived onward, despite being in that very catalog (!) but it would be interesting to know if it is in the next one as well.
