No More Monkeys Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Did you guys see what set is advertised on the back of the GE instruction book? 10195 if i am not mistaken? They have to retire GE just for that reason alone... Otherwise they are basically promoting resellers. My first reaction seeing the ad was - "awesome! i wonder where i can buy that?!" Why don't they print updated manual with each new run, i wonder? Or that would be too much of an expense? Quote
exciter1 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Never too soon to start amassing PS's before their demise...nor is it too soon to start a thread about said demise. Rumors are heating up that the Haunted House may be next on the list? Quote
ponyboy9595 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I know HH basically has the same characteristics as the other modulars, but is it considered a part of the modular series? Quote
marcandre Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I know HH basically has the same characteristics as the other modulars, but is it considered a part of the modular series? Monster fighter series. Plenty of people fit it in on their modular street though. It looks pretty good with the others. Quote

brickolodon Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 The Trains are going to be continuation theme............. (new Cargo train and new High Speed Passenger train). I think we will see very small margin for these 2 sets. I am sure both will do great...look at red cargo train....prices on red passenger 7938 pretty good already.179.99? as i can see. Quote
johnwray Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 To fellow Los Angelenos: as of this morning, the Glendale Lego store did not have any GEs, but the one on Topanga Canyon Blvd. (in Canoga Park) had two. They have a one-per-customer policy in place right now or I would have snagged more than just one. Quote
darin Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 7938 is more like $130-140...at least on Ebay. Give it some time...it did just retire. Quote

cladner Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 newest lego store in west hartford is out of stock on GE. 2 weeks ago they were piled high with more in back. Sales clerk said he had no idea if more were coming in stock. looking pretty eol-ish. Quote
exciter1 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I didn't know it was out of stock. It's disappearing from shelves at LEGO Stores. Some have said they aren't getting anymore. I know, hear say, I'm I'm still curious to know if any stores restock. Quote
