exciter1 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Why is 3D a waste for kids under 10? I have never gone to a 3d movie. They don't like to wear the glasses and will sit there with their glasses off suffering from a grainy/fuzzy movie. 2 Quote

stoltzjl77 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 We're planning a weekend in Chicago that includes the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, the Lego Store at Westfield Mall, and taking the oldest 6 kids to TLM. Won't be until the 28th-2nd, I can hardly wait! Quote
Guest eightbrick Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I couldn't care less what any review says; I would go see this regardless! Well, all the reviews are saying... GO FORTH AND WATCH IT! Telegraph IGN Variety RottenTomatoes (Still 100% ) Forbes Quote

krayzie Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 The 3d times at my theater suck. Everyday they have two 3d showings and it's at either 1:10PM or 4:10 PM. It seems kind of strange to not have an evening showing today. Quote

jpschwarz2 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I am and I already got the tickets and the Lego Emmit exclusive for seeing it in 3D at a Regal Cinema. AMC is also giving out an exclusive if you see it with them in 3D while supplies last. Quote
boomzoom Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 We will see it at 8:30am tomorrow! It is a free private screening before the theatre opens to public for the day. My kids are very excited and have been looking forward to it. Quote
krayzie Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Best Buy had no idea about the pajama emmet polybag. Wtf? edit: Apparently my local store never got any in. Quote
boomzoom Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Everything is awesome! When we came out of the movie, a local lego club was setting up the Lego movie display. Very cool! Sorry could not take a better picture. 1 Quote

peculiar23 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Went and saw the movie today and it is pure awesome. I took my 3 1/2 year old, it was her first movie and she loved it. I loved it they had some great stuff in their that was purely for die hard fans. Like the part numbers appearing next to the pieces as the master builders did their thing. We were also able to stop at Toys r us before hand a get the mini builds of Emmett's car and the flying cop car. It was a pretty epic day! 1 Quote
Quacs Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I agree with almost everyone's take that the movie was phenomenal. I find it interesting that the only two LM items I had listed (for over two weeks with few views) sold. The Cuckoo Palaces I have will be going up today! BTW, I am saving up my sheckles for the Sea Cow. That thing looks ridiculously awesome. Releases to VIPs in 8 days! Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote
jaisonline Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Went to see the non-3D movie today with the nearly 5 yr old boy and wife. They both liked it as did I. We even managed to score a PJ Emmet (with hair though) despite being all out. My wife totally thought "The Man Upstairs" definitely reminded her of me (without the Kragle of course) She laughed the entire time of that portion while looking at me, 1 Quote

Man, I just about died when that Kre-O add came on! Couldn't LEGO prevent competition from advertising at their own movie? I LOVED the movie, just wished they couldhave thrown some more Star Wars in there! Quote
hxckid88 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 The kreo commercial was horrible too. What were they say I *** become a keoleon or something Quote
