brickinfinite Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Brickingbad.com has The LEGO store calendar for March posted. Link I wonder what the secret exclusive set is going to be? Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Maybe the ship from the movie? Or maybe that is coming this month. Can't remember. Quote
rcdb1984 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 why doesn't it say anything about double vip? or is that feb? I forgot Quote
@rtisan Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Maybe the ship from the movie? Or maybe that is coming this month. Can't remember. That`s what I`m thinking too. Hoping for x2 VIP points so I can grab it. Not in a hurry, but if that promotion is available I`ll be getting one to build no question. It looks incredible for an official Lego ship. why doesn't it say anything about double vip? or is that feb? I forgot Should be March/April. Hopefully they will still offer the promotion, it would really suck if they decided not to. Quote

Guest brickcrazyhouse Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 last year it was march 25 to april 8 no more coupons. no more double points? Quote
spener90 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I'm guessing the set is the ship, it doesn't say anything about VIP for March, so it probably officially releases then. I'm curious to see what the new set to be announced in Portland will be. I'm guessing Mini Modulars 2.0. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 That Martian Manhunter minifigure is rather snazzy. 1 Quote
Soadfan4ever Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 The exclusive set will be available to VIPs in February, so I bet that the March 1st date is when they roll it out to civilians. I got excited when I saw that new exclusive box note, then I remembered it will probably just be the LEGO movie ship. I was hoping for some under the radar Super Heroes set or something like that. Soadfan4ever Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 That Martian Manhunter minifigure is rather snazzy. My thoughts exactly. I gotta figure out something at my store worth buying. Quote
Doofy McGee Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 *GASP!* Martian Manhunter!!! Looks like I will be placing a few LEGO Shop at Home orders in March! 1 Quote
nolanfan34 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 *GASP!* Martian Manhunter!!! Looks like I will be placing a few LEGO Shop at Home orders in March! Exactly my thought. That is going to be hot. Quote

njseale Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I can't wait to get that mini fig. Might have to try to get a few of them. Very anxious to pick up the Joker steam roller set as well as it looks like it may be one of my favorite Batman sets to date. Quote
seapotato Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 ewar acro fighter? was that not already given out as a promo before? (Or was it a gift with purchase at TRU?) Quote
justgod Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 So what is everyone's opinion of the Feb freebie (Piece of Resistance) versus March's (Martian Manuhunter)? I am going to pick up a few of 10226 but want the best bang for my buck. Thanks! Quote
seapotato Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Given that emmet shows up in almost all of the Lego movie sets, he is a very common minifig. You'd be better off waiting until march. Quote

(Or was it a gift with purchase at TRU?)Yes, and I can still find a ton of them at my Target which has been there for months now.So what is everyone's opinion of the Feb freebie (Piece of Resistance) versus March's (Martian Manuhunter)? rcdb1984 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Do we have any confirmation on when double VIP is Quote
asharerin Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 No double vip this March. Have not seen the April calendar yet. Quote
stackables Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Going to have to figure out $75 worth of merch to get the fig. Not sure what I want. Quote
@rtisan Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 any exclusive ^This. That Martian will be worth a decent amount, enough to justify $75 worth of MSRP Lego, even without double VIP. Buy a HH for $190, selling Martian for (presumably) $20, you get about 10% off. Not bad when you consider no regular discounts on anything. Of course, double VIP stacked with this would be the icing on the cake 1 Quote
BrickLegacy Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 How likely is it they will offer 2x VIP points in March? Quote
MartinP Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 How likely is it they will offer 2x VIP points in March? Not a good chance for 2x VIP points in March. Lego usually says promos like that in the monthly calenders, but I did not see it in the March one so I am thinking that there won;t be double VIP points in March. It could be in April this year.
