whiteboy02 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Hey guys, I'm trying to go to brickset.com but every time it takes kind of long to load, then when its done loading the whole page goes white! Anybody else having this problem? Quote
whiteboy02 Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Never mind it works fine now. Quote
Guest eightbrick Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Brickset is going to change its look soon so that might be the problem. I've had on-and-off problems with it since yesterday. Quote
MartinP Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Brickset is going to change its look soon so that might be the problem. I've had on-and-off problems with it since yesterday. Same here. One minute it loads fine, the next it doesn't. I think the website is going to change the look on Monday. Quote
MatthewB Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Brickset is currently experiencing some problems with the main site. The forum is still working: http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/13805/brickset-com-site-issues#top The new site is due to be launched on Monday, but these are (unfortunately timed) unrelated issues. Noodlenut Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Brickset announced that there would be some down-time today. I would post a link, but that would be pointless because the link is not working. Quote
Ed Mack Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Huw is doing a major overhaul of the site. There are always glitches when undertaking such a task. Jeff and I have had the privilege to see the new version and it looks great. 1 Quote
justgod Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Went to brickset tonight. Now it loads to Parallel Software? Did someone forget to renew the registration?? Quote
Doofy McGee Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Went to brickset tonight. Now it loads to Parallel Software? Did someone forget to renew the registration?? Holy crap, that's not good! I just got the same result. Brickset had finally been working well for the last couple days. It worked up until this afternoon in fact. I hope this gets figured out! I can't imagine what would be going on though that would cause this kind of re-direct. I mean, why Parallels??? How random... Quote
legofreeman Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 It just looks like the hosting company has a placeholder page up, similar to what godaddy does, while the site is down. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote
