spener90 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Looks awesome! I'm going to have to try that later. Did Lego really team up with Google? World domination anyone? Quote
MartinP Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Looks interesting. Going to try it out soon. Quote
brickinfinite Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Now we just need to add minifigures to populate it. The LEGO Sims anyone? Quote
binici Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 You have to use Chrome! LOL All kidding aside, looks like it will be one of those things where you can kill time for a long time. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Well, now I can 'Googlebate' with Lego. :P Quote
@rtisan Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Neat! Curious to see how it compares to LDD. Quote

vincevaughn Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Chrome is not required I was messing around in it just fine with my firefox browser....it does require a lot of bandwidth so downloads are a no go.... Pretty cool idea even if it is just basic bricks....will be interesting to see in a couple months when the world is populated with builds. There are some builds out there....first one I found was a....ahem, male anatomy lesson.....then just some houses..... Coolest one I found was up in new york, a 2d space invaders frame...loved it! kunfuzd Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 QUICK! Build on your address before somebody else does... Quote
teamhappyfrog Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Did anyone see this announcement yesterday: http://techland.time.com/2014/01/29/google-chrome-launches-virtual-lego-land/ Short version: You can make virtual build's and even share them out on google map's. Start building It is a bit of fun, basic pieces and color palettes. My only issue is that cursor has a ghosted brick attached to it and can get in the way while rotating. Hope this topic fits in this category, since this is more of a virtual building space. Quote
