gnextdoor
Saw the super hero minifigure frame today at the park. Kind of expensive for a plate with paper around it. I agree. I have seen really nice Minifigures display cases but at bit pricey . I was able to make a homemade display case all for under $20.00 here is the end result

kris_1973
Hi I went to ikea And brought a Ribba frame How do you like it? Thinking of ordering online (as closest store is 2+ hrs away from me).
dah_hunter
I been working on some basic ones. Frames are Ikea frames, but i dont know what ones, i just get them from the local Thrift stores for $1. and take out whatever is inside. $2 for 4 frames.. cant go wrong.

MrToes16
I've seen a lot of people go for Ikea Ribba framed for minifigure display. I did mine with a large grey baseplate and I fit 48 collectible minifigs nicely. I've seen people also build out the display shelves as well and you can end up fitting lots more. Now if only I can find the 2 missing figs from series 15. I know they are around somewhere. minicoopers11
Interesting. Right after I saw the post, I checked IKEA.com. Kasseby is what stood out to me. Guess more expensive at $17.99, but it has a door and opens on the front.
MrToes16
Kasseby has more depth than Ribba. I know I had to manipulate the figs a bit especially if they are a bit larger like the tails of the Shark Suit guy or figs with tails. Kasseby door would make swapping out figs much easier. Ribba can still technically hold more figs overall if you want to go for count over all. See this vid on how the guy fit 135 figs into Ribba 50x50cm.
gregpj
This is what we did with the Ribba frame from ikea. Bought full matt sheets from Michaels the craft junk store and cut them to replace the ones it came with. Hot glued (yup) 2x4 bricks to it. Fits 54 figures nicely.

boliramirez
This is what I done.... I went with the Video idea of an internal Frame.... Works great, but kind of expensive.... around $75 per Frame..... but the results are worth it... you be the Judge.

stackables
This took my longer than expected. I ended up putting a variety of figs in the display. I left out a couple of my more valuable ones (i.e. Cloud City Fett).
Quacs
My most recent minifigure display cases - 1st is all of the Lego Batman Movie minifigures, and the 2nd is all of the other Batman minifigures minus the Justice League, Man Of Steel and BvS minifigures. Those I’ll pull together soon.
