Guest TabbyBoy Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Attached is the current list of retired sets at Lego UK. It's a good guide of what to look for in supermarkets and department stores if you don't want lots of boxes in your loft for too long. Quote
Yellowtot Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 btw you can 10 points for sheer effort well played Quote
Tilted Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Thanks for sharing TB, was hoping to see a couple more Friends sets on there! Quote
justgod Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 6860 is noteworthy. Anyone know if there is any standard protocol as to time delay for items retired in the UK before they go in the US? I need to stock up, but really wanted to find these at least 25% off. Waiting on Retired label for 6857 in the US as well. Should be soon. Thanks to the OP for this list. Quote
Tilted Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I've picked up a trend, I think there's a 2 month gap on most released/EOL'd sets. Quote

Diagon Alley went EOL in the eu 6 months before the USA. Most go at a similar time world wide. Quote

fantomas007 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 In that list is missing 10197 Fire brigade and 10214 Tower Bridge - but I have heard a lot of speculations that they are over and already retired. Also I have saw that many these sets disappeared from the eshops last days. Do you think they are retired? I dont want to go to a panic buy for a bigger price, if there is a chance of restocking them... Quote

If you see a 10197 at RRP in a shop nearby, just buy it. Feel free to post an updated list if you have one. I'll post another one from the UK this weekend. Quote

spener90 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 The Winter Village Cottage will remain retired. Many of us thought the same thing with last years winter sets, but they never returned. Quote
