BrickLegacy
I bought a Vampyre Castle in store at TRU but discovered later it was cheaper online so I had one shipped to home. The condition of the box that shipped to home was worse than the one I bought in store. Think I can return the one that shipped to home using the receipt from the in store order without any hassle? redghostx
Yes, but ethically you shouldn't do that.

BrickLegacy
I might just keep both. Open and build the one with the worst box and keep two for my collection. Anyone else bullish on VC?

I am, I've invested in several over the last year or so.

I've got 26 already but would get more if the price is right.

Alpinemaps
To answer your original question, I wouldn't have a problem returning the damaged box to the store, with the higher price receipt. First, you expect to receive the product in an acceptable manner. Second, TRU will PM their own web site.

BrickLegacy
Trying again with the latest $20 off discount today. I'm definitely returning the crappy box they shipped me last week if this one comes in better shape.

BrickLegacy
I returned the crappy box to store. I didn't feel guilty after TRU shipped another VC and Batcave in over sized boxes with zero packaging materials.
njseale
I just got a decimated bat cave from TRU. Why oh why do they do this.
BrickLegacy
Should we start a new thread to compete against each other for the set that arrived in the worst condition from TRU?
