What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Sold my only SSD for $700 cash locally.  Might regret it big time down the road but can't look back now.  Wanted to keep it for long term...but the small-time-investor-with-no-patience part of me said some profit/cash flow injection would be nice on a fairly quick 3-4wk flip.  Mentally it lowers the cost of some sets I bought recently for personal build :)

Well i am having sellers remorse...... I sold my NISB 10182 Corner Cafe for $1750 plus $35 Shipping......

I am having a tough time departing with it, but I guess that it will be a a stepping stone in my career as Lego investor........

I understand the attachment.

I recommend you take all the cash you made, throw it on the bed, and roll around in it a lot.

It will help. :)

sold my used/complete 10221 SSD for $550 cash on craigs. paid $300 for it as part of a star wars bulk lot I bought last summer. I will hold onto my four sealed ones for at least two years. I didn't mind letting my used one go. in addition to that I've been having a pretty good week...

3368 space center for $97 shipped x 2

7 set monster fighter lot for $345 shipped (castle, train, scientist, hearse, werewolf, mummy, swamp) x2

3 set monster fighter lot for $140 shipped (crazy scientist, hearse, werewolf) x2

flashback shredder for $9 shipped

two face chase for $95 shipped

all of these were brand new/sealed ebay sales

Sold a Harry Potter Hungarian Horntail on ebay for $170 shipped.  It was the last set of a lot that I bought on CL a couple years ago.  Bought a few tubs for $160 and surely sold $1500 worth of Lego out of it.  It was mostly Harry Potter sets from the original run and then all of the Goblet of Fire sets.  Hated to see it go as we like Harry around here, but we have all the most recent run built around here.

I had lots of opportunities to buy those Space Centers for under $40, but I only have a couple.  I still haven't sold any of my Monster Fighter sets yet.

You had a good week.

A lot of people think city sets aren't worth the time, but there are some gems out there. I had sold all of my space centers previously, but then reloaded when TRU had them on clearance for $40.xx this past summer. It's been trending up. As far as the monster fighters, if you're looking to sell this year now is the time to do it, and I think selling as a lot is the way to go. I just started listing mine about a week ago, and they are drawing lots of attention/watchers. This year I'm just trying to move my small sets. I'll keep all of my HH and the rest of my Vampire Castles for the long haul.
