Popular Post brickvoyeur
Quote I'll read the Nightmare Before Christmas story this year, kids. Twas the night before Clearance And all through the aisle Steamrollers were packed Into my cart like a pile Exo Suits were hung In the storage with care Knowing that in a decade They still will be there Sergeant Jyn Erso was nestled Deep under my bed With terrible proportions And a face that looks dead Wonder woman in her armor And cheetah in her cap The lasso of truth will tell you That this set is pure crap When out on my doorstep A noise shook me awake ShopJustice still delivering Olaf Flat as a pancake Faster shipping than FedEx The turds as they came I cried and I pouted As I called them by name "Now, Dots! now, Mario! Now Lego Movie 1 and 2! On, Raiders! on, Mighty Dinos! On, Takodana and constractables too! To the depths of the dumpster! Stacked 50 feet tall Now throw away! throw away! throw away all!" Each year I make efforts To donate a bit more But Toys for tots sends a bill For returning them to my door Since I can't give them away I'll dig a big pit It's the final solution To get rid of this sh!t I shook as I laughed At the thought of relieving this pain It was nearly 3am So I looked quite insane As I poured the kerosene I cheered with delight "I'll light you on fire, So you're out of my sight" Edited December 7, 2022 by brickvoyeur 15

Cheese
Sold a number of my PC recently. A UCS RBR; UCS ISD; UCS X-Wing; UCS Naboo Fighter and a GG. Made about £600 after fees. Sad to see them go, but threat of remakes and lack of space was the deciding factor.

Cheese
Surely that lot made more than £600?Didn’t buy them new. Bought them only 2 years ago when prices were quite high. ISD cost me £850 alone and sold for the same.

I'd thought that you meant you got a total of £600 after fees, not £600 profit.

It's a far better set IMHO than RI and has a great future. Worst case... I'll simply ship one with each Saturn V. I even have Mars Rovers to bundle with them too! What did everyone manage to buy in at? Edited January 5, 2019 by Tarka

Think its sitting at 2.5 - 3x RRP at the moment. I flipped a few last year at a smaller profit but bagged the 1000 points per set & 342. I even sell a lot of my sets for cash at higher prices than eBay as some people are still nervous buying off eBay. Me selling a 60104 for £200 ain’t far off. Val-E
Much cheaper on Amazon. If there is no remake this year then prices could tick up more next Xmas.

marcandre
Old Fishing $282 FBM. This thing has blown by DO and could pass BB soon. Bumping it to $325. I was only buying these on sale until the end, rrp now looking like a good buy in though.
Solsbury18
I’ve been able to sell 2 OFS recently for $250 each. Paid retail for both and did some quick flips. It’s crazy. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum
Captain_chaos
OFS doesn't seem to be doing nearly as well over here in the UK. Still well behind the modulars. 1

I'm not surprised as the discounts in the UK weren't that generous. If only it was slashed by over 50% like Doctor Who, Ecto1 and WALL-E were. The OFS didn't reach my target buy-in so I went without. However, it's streets ahead of that sodding Pet Shop which as yet to constantly yield RRP after fees.
