Popular Post brickvoyeur
Quote I'll read the Nightmare Before Christmas story this year, kids. Twas the night before Clearance And all through the aisle Steamrollers were packed Into my cart like a pile Exo Suits were hung In the storage with care Knowing that in a decade They still will be there Sergeant Jyn Erso was nestled Deep under my bed With terrible proportions And a face that looks dead Wonder woman in her armor And cheetah in her cap The lasso of truth will tell you That this set is pure crap When out on my doorstep A noise shook me awake ShopJustice still delivering Olaf Flat as a pancake Faster shipping than FedEx The turds as they came I cried and I pouted As I called them by name "Now, Dots! now, Mario! Now Lego Movie 1 and 2! On, Raiders! on, Mighty Dinos! On, Takodana and constractables too! To the depths of the dumpster! Stacked 50 feet tall Now throw away! throw away! throw away all!" Each year I make efforts To donate a bit more But Toys for tots sends a bill For returning them to my door Since I can't give them away I'll dig a big pit It's the final solution To get rid of this sh!t I shook as I laughed At the thought of relieving this pain It was nearly 3am So I looked quite insane As I poured the kerosene I cheered with delight "I'll light you on fire, So you're out of my sight" Edited December 7, 2022 by brickvoyeur 15

grackleflint
FBA Dimensions Ghostbusters Slimer Fun Pack for $18.99 with a $10.60 cost during BF weekend so I made $1.50 but I got the free... Dimensions Green Arrow pack, sold for $50 Sold within 2 hours of being checked in, leaping over two other FBA sellers at $40 but those guys were in backorder availability because of an FC transfer for using IPS. Just more justification to spend the extra time and effort to do DIP when getting close to Christmas. Also gotta love those impatient gamers. grackleflint
48 minutes ago, pstebbing said: and I take it you don't like the 10697s. Just a matter of timing. First time out for Xmas, these were gold. This year, with the cat out of the bag, not so much. Just like what happened with the Santa Workshop...first Xmas you could flip them for $150, last Xmas..no way with so many sellers. This year, the Christmas sleeper flip seems to be the 10252 Beetle..selling for $169+ (only 31 sellers) on Amazon FBA while the same cost and more widely known 10254 Holiday Train is at $156 with over 110 sellers (I'm expecting a race to the bottom for this as we get closer to Christmas and people need to dump stock). So you are making $30 and if you got it during the Double VIP with the free snow globe, you are doing very well. Don't think this will be the case next year. I also dumped my TBs and probably won't rebuy due to suspected massive hoarding and I'm taking a long break from investing. I forgot... I've also sold a couple of VW T1s in the old box (before the "fix") for £75 as they'll be worth less than the newer ones. Next time LEGO shows them as Back Order, I'm dumping the lot (I have 20 left) for £75 cash.
Popular Post grackleflint
4184 POTC Black Pearl for $475 via Amazon FBA Picked this up for $49.50 at the post-Christmas Walmart clearance those few years ago. This was the first LEGO purchase strictly for reselling that got me started on this ride. It was my first LEGO love but figured it was time to let it go with the possibility of new ships with the new POTC movie. Maybe it will keep rising like the Imperial Flagship... All...the good old days

Stupid dark ages. Don't remind me about the 20 I left behind at Walmart for $60 each (because this thing called TOILET PAPER was "more important" to fit into the literally full car, in addition to the 10 I did actually buy) or about the 10 I returned to Target for $85 each because I found so many at Walmart for a lower price. These would've been an easy £30 flip with a month but, I just left them - duh.

donbee
City Monster Truck. Who knew people would pay $40 for a small non-licensed set. I found out recently I still have one. Was going to give it to my nephew, but my wife thought it was too dinky. I'll give him a Darkseid invasion. It'll be a decade before I see that double RRP.

Another example where Phantom Bricks and Planet Fun Toys parked hundreds of these out there at a lower price than everyone else. They are stuck at $35 and will be for some time, at least on the primary listing.

zskid00
Still a great return on a small, inexpensive set but undercutting everyone else by $5 on a $40 price is no fun.
