I only see a 24.98 + shipping listing that is the buy box and 36 products from 19.95

I see the 39.95 listing by filtering it to Prime only.  How many normal shoppers do that, I wonder?

The $83 Daily Bugle Showdown I sold today was FBA, but there were many, many FBM's available for $10 cheaper (including the shipping cost).

There are nearly 70 million Prime members.  What percentage of those couldn't care less about lowest price and just want it in 2 days?  That's how many.

Those are some excellent numbers provided.  What % of those want the lowest price, especially when buying a collectible and buying a lot? Thats how many.

That's fine.  There have been enough that don't care and have purchased every set I've ever sold on Amazon.  All at a substantial mark-up.  Don't mind me though, you seem to have a firm grasp on selling through Amazon.

Snarky attitude noted.

My point was being new to FBA - I was not seeing the different pricing, it kept giving my the lowest prices to compete against and that just seemed like a race to the bottom.  My comment about people more interested in paying lower prices vs. faster shipping is based on 20 years of doing toy shows/selling online and most buyers stretching their collect dollars.

I have exceeded my expectations with the 111lbs of items I sent into amazon and sold most of it in 10 days. My original comment was just about seeing the high/low and how exciter was reaching such higher prices.

I don't see any listing Below 39.9 for WB ( yes I don't made this one up for wizard battle ) . Many folks pay for their prime membership and would like to reap the benefit of quick shipping . Many others thing prime is Amazon vs 3p . There are many factors involved but you will quickly learn that fba has its own charm even when bb goes to fbm

I sold that ISD a couple weeks ago for $220 and they paid $35 for next day shipping. I hope they enjoy it.

I think part of my confusion is I use the sellercentral app on my phone to add new sets to FBA(just the initial product, not product amount). Then modify the rest on my laptop and that is where I am seeing the pricing gap,. it just shows the lowest and I dont see a way to filter to prime listings.  Then again maybe I am missing something in seller central since I have been using it for just a few weeks.

Not trying to be snarky, just responding in kind.  When you add a new product on the app, under the price, it shows you what the lowest FBA offers are.  When you do it from the site on your laptop, you'll need to go  into the item description.  It's really easy though.  In the product information on the right, there is a title labeled "Competing Marketplace Offers".  Under that, click on the number of offers and it takes you straight to the price listings.  Here is where you can filter it.  Takes about 10 seconds so not that time-consuming.  Cheers, mate.

Thanks @loghamel!  I was seeing the FBA offers in the app and did not see a way to match that when I switched over.  Seeing the price discrepancy made me pull them from my next shipment.  Will look for "Competing Marketplace Offers" when I get to this tonight.  Want to dump my 20 or so WB and microMF but I wanted that higher price point!

Sold 75002 Star Wars AT-RT for $75 before fees and shipping, and 7959 Geonosis Starfighter for $85, both on Amazon Canada. Found the ATRT on a Walmart shelf 6 months ago and paid $18. The starfighter was a 2 years ago purchase for $25. Now to dig up those posts about how Clone Wars/Prequels based sets will never do well.......

I love those old Clone Wars sets and wish I had more AT-RTs especially. These are sets which aren't likely to be remade anytime soon... hmmmm...

Agreed. I'm sure the main draw is the 501st trooper and walker. I think this and the more expensive Z-95 are the only sets where you can get the standard 501st trooper. Also the only set with the sniper droideka.

I didn't actually sell a Lego set today. It was one of two items I've ever listed on ebay that weren't Lego, in fact. But it sold (a GoPro WiFi remote), and with that sale, launched me into Top Rated Seller status.

The stoke is high! I didn't think I was anywhere close yet. Cheaper FVFs for the win! Yay!
