What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Sold my last eighteen 10188 Death Stars FBA for $610-$628. Averaged $506 after all fees and costs. Buy in $252 per set.

Was hoping for a better price prior to the 75159 reveal but a few sellers using repricers came with enough supply to last the entire year. The reveal is rumored to be SDCC and the price $499.99 USD. If that pans out these bigger sellers using repricers will cause a rapid tumble in prices once other people start dumping stock and we will likely see a $100 price drop quickly (hint don't price match them as their algorithm is set for a price drop on a 3 way or greater match so just undercut them by a few dollars if you want to move your stock).

If the new set disappoints I will likely rebuy 10188 on bricklink/brickowl/brick classfieds/craigslist for a long term hold. It is a fantastic set.

How long did it take to sell those 18?

And if you don't mind me asking, when did you get them for $250?

Around 3 weeks to sell thru. Things moved alot slower once the repricers decided to dump.

All purchased at Target Oct and Nov 2015.

Went to Star Wars celebration Europe and was hoping to get some Lego exclusives but sadly none were in the offering. As a small consolation picked up 4 Funko Pop Star Wars sets including one exclusive to celebration for £60 all in and sold for £120 within a day and also sold a rouge one poster that they were handing out at one of the sessions for £50.

How in the world? Did these show up in store at a discount or were you doing some mad gift card inception? I don't recall any huge discounts at that time but maybe I missed them.

There was a 15% store wide discount that could be applied with other discounts. IIRC, it was only for a few hours...

Continuing through my used sets from bulk lots, with a few sales of smaller NISB stuff.

In the past couple weeks:

Finished off my last 3 Kai's Mini Dragons at $9 each

1970 Pirates Gun Cart for $14.25

7151 Sith Infiltrator at $51.50

7200+7201 Final Duel 1+2 combo for $52.60

5938 Oaisis Ambush for $27

6900 Cyber Saucer + 6815 Hovertron for $53

2 copies of 71229 Dimensions Joker & Harley team packs at $27 and $30

And a 79015 Witch King Battle to a dude down in Aus for $32

All prices in CAD and including the buyer's shipping costs. Not big money, but I'm a bit surprised at the number of sales for July so far. Finally breached 100 transactions, getting that much closer to TRS! Some quantity in the fall leading up to Christmas should hopefully bump me into Powerseller status.

Buy in was £45 some time ago which included store card discounts.  Just recently The Entertainer had some more sets in but was at RRP, but even then there was still money to be made.  As you know, an iconic set with rare/desirable minifigs can be a good earner if you have the patience to split, this one took me no longer then 15 minutes on each!! I've been selling the figures for £8-£10 each, the Bith Band £15, the Dewback £24, Speeder £10 and the set on its own at £42.  Some figures have been bricklinked, some ebay and one person had a picked up the set locally.  With various fees and postage it worked out an average of £52 per set.  Surprising I've seen some used sets sale on ebay for around £45, which is worth getting as Greedo and the Dewback are very popular and easy to sale.

Selling a lot now that I have moved to Amazon:

after fees:

x-wings $156

Meridas Highland games $25

Ariels Amazing Treasure $21

Rancor Pit $69

Umbaran MHC $57

Does Amazon have higher fees and an annual seller fee as well? Sorry for the off topic question.

Higher fees but product sells at a higher amount.  For me it frees up time/space and makes the GF a lot happier, so the higher fees make my life a little easier.

example 9493 x-wing on ebay sells for $111 -$160 before fees.  I do not have to have boxes, pack it up and drive to post office - that is a win to me.

You don't have to have boxes and no need to pack it up and drive to PO? Ok, I am clueless here. How's that possible?

There's a thread for advice on Amazon selling right?
