Interesting, I'm surprised you view City Camper Van under "Buyers Remorse". Here in the U.S. without a single holiday season going by its sitting at 40$ usd on amazon. I expected it to do much better in Europe.

I went through a phase of disappointment with the performance of CITY sets but, the Camper Van caught my eye and I bought 10 at a good price and decided to hold for a year. I have a similar feeling again with the 60073 Service Truck (with "Turdis" on trailer) and recently bought 5 on Amazon at >50% off. I always buy LEGO for family/friends' kids and worst case it's a cheap present that they'll enjoy. It's much harder in the UK as we don't get the bargains that are often seen in the US.

The main reason why I'm buying small(ish) CITY sets when they are cheap as I have access to free vitrtually unlimited boxes that fit them perfectly making postage a doddle ;-)

Oh, just sold 76004 (Spider Cycle) for £27.99 and 76006 (Iron Man Extremis) for £22.99 - both double money.

This it's probably being frowned upon here. I flipped a 10253 Big Ben with €50 profit, get a free 40221 and VIP points.

Honestly I'm just listing not expecting any interest but am pleasantly surprised.

haters gonna hate.

Frowned so hard my eyebrows are now interlocked.

Well done!

I do not have the balls to quick flip like you just did. So you are already better than me.

Just to be clear, nobody has never said quick flipping is bad though we will toss a TRU parking lot / hotcake comment or two in for good measure. 50 euro isn't shabby for taking a chance. :drinks:

It's the people who attempt the quick flip, fall on their ass in failure and then return stacks of them to the retailer with their tail between their legs claiming "oh well, it's my right to return them."

No problem, it was a tongue in cheek comments from me. I enjoyed this forum very much. I don't mind the ribbing.

Agreed with the second comment. But hey there's a different thread for that and has been discussed to death.

FBA :

At-te : $200 . Made that 50$ a piece hunt at Walmart so worth it .

Did you sell this on the primary listing where there are other FBA options at $71.50 and up or did you have it on a secondary listing?

Alt listing , since the primary was suppressed for the longest .

At-At €160 cash, €73 buy in, 7 mth hold

Sydney Opera House €85 cash, €42 buy in 4 mths hold

Manuel Neuer €21 cash

Mats Hummels €16 shipped

Val-E's probably choking over his corn flakes now, shaking his head , thinking I should have held these longer.

Nah, I get it. Gotta free up capital for those 30% off Bionicle and swamp police sets.

I've been unloading my 10937 Arkham Asylum Breakout sets.  5 sold for $230-$235 in the last 2 weeks.  Each was shipped w/o the Lego box (really an odd / tall box for set this size).

I'm holding out hope Suicide Squad reinvigorates this set.

I thought the Batman Superman film would have helped.

The set itself is awesome.  If anyone is in the market for a neat build and great Batman minifig selection, this is a great set to buy,

Too bad every minifig is either a rehash or has already been rehashed.  I think many Lego Superhero buyers don't seem to care much about the brick builds in sets.  It's all about the minifigs.  If even 1/2 of the included minifigs were really "exclusive" (meaning no other recent set contained a version of that character) , I'm sure prices would be above $400.
