Popular Post brickvoyeur Posted December 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) Quote I'll read the Nightmare Before Christmas story this year, kids. Twas the night before Clearance And all through the aisle Steamrollers were packed Into my cart like a pile Exo Suits were hung In the storage with care Knowing that in a decade They still will be there Sergeant Jyn Erso was nestled Deep under my bed With terrible proportions And a face that looks dead Wonder woman in her armor And cheetah in her cap The lasso of truth will tell you That this set is pure crap When out on my doorstep A noise shook me awake ShopJustice still delivering Olaf Flat as a pancake Faster shipping than FedEx The turds as they came I cried and I pouted As I called them by name "Now, Dots! now, Mario! Now Lego Movie 1 and 2! On, Raiders! on, Mighty Dinos! On, Takodana and constractables too! To the depths of the dumpster! Stacked 50 feet tall Now throw away! throw away! throw away all!" Each year I make efforts To donate a bit more But Toys for tots sends a bill For returning them to my door Since I can't give them away I'll dig a big pit It's the final solution To get rid of this sh!t I shook as I laughed At the thought of relieving this pain It was nearly 3am So I looked quite insane As I poured the kerosene I cheered with delight "I'll light you on fire, So you're out of my sight" Edited December 7, 2022 by brickvoyeur 15 18 Quote

Alpinemaps Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Minifigs. I'm just starting out in the parting out world, and I've been successful these last couple of days selling minifigs. Quote
Huskers1236 Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Sold a Grand Emporium/Pet Shop combo for $270 shipped (used). Great shape, but had no instructions so I had to throw mine in and buy new ones on Bricklink to replace. I was too impatient to wait for them to show up in the mail. Hadn't sold anything in a while, going to have to get back into the grind of boxing things up as I have a long waiting list of stuff to get up on ebay. Quote
jaisonline Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 on bricklink, i sold my last three sealed 30th anniv gold c3pos for $1110 with shipping. man, these things sell themselves. now it's time to list my white boba fett polybag. Quote

Guest TabbyBoy Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 A used Unimog in superb condition for a very disappointingly low price (below half RRP after fees) 41 watchers and no bidding war! It goes to show that the vast majority of watchers are competitors, not bidders. I hope the buyer changes their mind before they pay for it and I'm NOT going to chase them with an invoice. This means that there's no way I'm listing a MISB one yet. I was going to enclose batteries but, the tight bugger can buy their own now! Quote

El Guapo Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Doc Ock for $40...plus shipping. Feel that is a pretty good price (got it for $15). Trying to get out of these now that a new one is coming out....I think it will slow the growth of this one and my money could be put to better use elsewhere. Also sold the WildStyle from Cloud Cuckoo for $14! Quote
beartrapper Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 79108 for $44 shipped. Paid $13 a few months ago. 2 Quote

beartrapper Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 That's a good sign for this set. I hope so. I've got at least half a dozen. I'll gradually list them all. Even at $44 each I'm happy. And to think that in Decmeber I was willing to trade "I'd trade two Stagecoaches for the Unexpected Gathering and two for a Hive Crawler" Quote
exciter1 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Has anyone sold their free Emmet car they built at the Toys R Us build event a couple weeks ago? I've seen several go for $40 - $50 that have included an Emmet minifig to compliment the car. I think I'm listing mine tonight. Quote

Yep, no kidding. My son has his on the shelf in his bedroom. I have an extra bag with all the pieces and extra instructions I'm thinking about offloading. You could always stick a hat on Emmet. Quote

Bold-Arrow Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Below is an old post from Deeker, thought it might help those who either just started or about to start selling. I will vouch for him, these sizes pretty much cover everything : "Since many of you are in the same box situation I am in I will tell you the boxes I ordered from Staples. It should make my life easy in the future in packing up rather then trying to cut to fit or stuff with tons of bubble wrap: 404628 24L x 12W x 4H Staples Corrugated Shipping Boxes 2 $31.99 426404 24L x 20W x 6H Staplesreg Corrugated Shipping Boxes 2 $24.49 481628 24L x 16W x 4H Staplesreg Corrugated Shipping Boxes 2 $39.99 426309 16L x 12W x 4H Staplesreg Corrugated Shipping Boxes 2 $23.99 557502 12L x 8W x 4H Staplesreg Corrugated Shipping Boxes 2 $16.49 These should cover almost every set. The big ones are for the modulars and such, The next sixe are for helms deep size boxes, Then middle size is for the longer boxes like Black gate and such, then last two are for smaller sets with the smaller one being for the typical 20 sets like wolverines. I hope this helps some of you" 3 Quote
Huskers1236 Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 Sold about 60 CMF's in 5 different lots for a total a little under $200 shipped. These were in a craigslist lot, so price paid is difficult since there was also 100+ lbs. of Lego in it as well. Also sold a 7637 City Farm last night for $200 shipped. 1 Quote
