Has anyone sold a set on Amazon on drop shipped from Lego.com?  I just tried it, and someone bought one... Any tips or warnings?

I wouldn't recommend it.   Risk for ban hammer is high.

This should be fun.  Grabbing popcorn indeed.

Not only that LEGO has required verification checks if sending to a new address. That and with their slow shipping you might not make Amazon's delivery window and hurt  your metrics.

Banhammer from Lego. Amazon don't care as much as long as the customer gets the correct item on time and as described .

That is 100% not true. You should start reading the Amazon forums. You can get banned easy from Amazon for missing your shipping times. i would be more worried about an Amazon ban then a LEGO ban. There are lots of ways to get Lego but only one Amazon.

Arcric Batman vs Mr Freeze for €35 cash. Only one more to get rid of, be glad to see the back of them. Now if I could only get rid of the Ironman sets too.

Lesson learned from my first few months buying, avoid small super hero sets.

Super Heroes stuff is probably the weakest official license line since Lone Ranger here now and the smaller the set, the worse it gets. A lot of us foolishly invested in these on the back of recommendations from the US but that won´t be happening again. The Tumbler´s post retirement performance shows that even the most sought after sets from the line are no more than average investments as they are very hard to move at a premium price.

We are already judging the Tumbler's retirement performance? C'mon now...

Feel free to pick on the Asylum, but as for the Tumbler, it hasn't yet begun to fight.

Not retired yet and selling like hot cakes on Amazon for $320+ in the USA. Most bought in for ~ $150. I'd call that a success. Give it a year and it will be an easy 100-150% ROI.

Surprisingly (well not really) the dogs this time around are Star Wars (10188 and 10240) exclusives. The gravitational waves produced when these two are swallowed by their fast approaching remakes is going to be intense.
