Popular Post brickvoyeur
Quote I'll read the Nightmare Before Christmas story this year, kids. Twas the night before Clearance And all through the aisle Steamrollers were packed Into my cart like a pile Exo Suits were hung In the storage with care Knowing that in a decade They still will be there Sergeant Jyn Erso was nestled Deep under my bed With terrible proportions And a face that looks dead Wonder woman in her armor And cheetah in her cap The lasso of truth will tell you That this set is pure crap When out on my doorstep A noise shook me awake ShopJustice still delivering Olaf Flat as a pancake Faster shipping than FedEx The turds as they came I cried and I pouted As I called them by name "Now, Dots! now, Mario! Now Lego Movie 1 and 2! On, Raiders! on, Mighty Dinos! On, Takodana and constractables too! To the depths of the dumpster! Stacked 50 feet tall Now throw away! throw away! throw away all!" Each year I make efforts To donate a bit more But Toys for tots sends a bill For returning them to my door Since I can't give them away I'll dig a big pit It's the final solution To get rid of this sh!t I shook as I laughed At the thought of relieving this pain It was nearly 3am So I looked quite insane As I poured the kerosene I cheered with delight "I'll light you on fire, So you're out of my sight" Edited December 7, 2022 by brickvoyeur 15
siulon
Found some on clearance at a Walmart. Been to 7 others, nothing. So it was a lucky find. I saw a bunch not selling at 95-100, so I figured $90 was a good mark. awesome!
Legodog
I just sold 3 in the last 24 hrs as well for $90. It's time to bump the price back up again, but they weren't moving at $95. I went $88 to get rid of 2 of mine. Might bump it back up to $95 or so for the rest.

Listed 3 Hulk Helicarriers for $95 and in about 24 hrs someone bit and bought all 3. Now I need to figure out what I want to do with the rest of that I have. matt1147
I'm down to my last Hulk carrier...probably sold 7, which is a lot for me (new to invest/selling). I'm going to hang on to my last one for a few years at least I think!

kunfuzd
Sold a bunch of freebies (mini VW, Clone Troopers, Employees, Xmas Tree Stands, Xmas Tree Trucks) from Lego & TRU the last two weeks through eBay. S&**** and fees amounted to about 25%... Can't complain about the net profit...
znjndmawn
Parted out 6858 which I bought for $11 and sold it for $22.

That is correct, he said he is a collector and to package them carefully. I really think he is really a reseller from China. That's me reading between the lines. seapotato
I made my first Amazon sale yesterday, pretty exciting! Also flipped a couple sets locally for an average of 60% profit. Pretty good for just holding onto them less than a month. I wish I had a car when there was the clearance at Target, I would have bought everything lol. nolanfan34
I'm telling y'all, save those last Hulk's. $150 easy. I am basing that off the fact the shorts color will stay exclusive, and I think the original wave of Marvel sets will fetch an eventual premium. Gut feeling. Titus
I sold my last Hulk Helicarrier 2 days before Christmas for 139 Euro (about 190 US$!)...
Guest TabbyBoy
Lots more 4529 Iron Men and Capt Am Cycles. It wish I'd out a higher BIN price now! But, triple what I paid after only 4 months isn't too bad I suppose. ;-)

siulon
you can quite track your realized profit/loss with brickfolio, correct? once you sold a set, you basically take it off?
jgschmieg3
What were you able to get for these sets. Got about $650 for the Death Star after shipping - not eBay. Got about $310 after fees and shipping for the Y-Wing. Both used.

That's me reading between the lines. I'm pretty sure you're right. I was lucky I noticed they were going to different addresses because I packaged them all together before noticing he was sending them to different places, though they all appeared to be going to the same apt. complex or something. As long as he doesn't try to pull any crap with me, I don't care if he sends them to the North Pole.

I sold a couple to a Chinese guy that lived in LA, California in an apartment complex.

As long as he doesn't try to pull any crap with me, I don't care if he sends them to the North Pole. i had a buyer from the Philippines who purchased one of my UCS SW sets. Since he has a sister living in NYC and they visit each other, I shipped the set there to save me grief and him money. Can you ask if he has something similar? Anyway, make sure you ship using USPS Priority or Express International and with insurance to protect yourself (add delivery signature if offered). Since the target destination is in China, I wouldn't lie on the Customs form either. Not worth taking a chance with the Chinese..
