What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Agents Ocean HQ for $119 + $20 shipping. This one might be a 'hidden gem'. I got two of them at TRU for $50 last weekend. Not sure what sort of long term hold the set would be, but I'd say it's flip worthy if your buy in was $50. I was shocked to see that 2-3 of these per day were selling at $140, right after the theme was 30% off all weekend at TRU. Nice!

Why do you not try Amazon FBA?

I am not a fan of the concept. I don't like the thought of paying them storage fees, and I've read enough on here about poor handling of items sent to them and returned item scams that I'd just as soon manage the stuff myself. Next year I expect I'll have scaled up enough that I won't miss the quota. Right now I'm selling stuff locally for more in pocket then I would have been getting from Amazon anyways. That's fine for a month or so.

- 2506 Ninjago Skull Truck for 50 euro cash.

- 70803 The Movie Cloud Cuckoo's Palace for 15 euro cash.

- 70807 The Movie Metalbeard's Duel for 25 euro cash.

I hope you used protective gloves when handling those toxic  Movie sets!

Another Arendelle for $97 shipped on Amazon this morning. I can't a splain 'em?

GS: Galactic Titan via EBay GSP - $100 - these still aren't as good of investment as Constitution Train was at $50.

I am also still trying to sell the Galactic Titan. Such a nice set! But very difficult to sell.

Certainly. But still made a whopping 4 euro profit on them movie sets.

Dunno what is worse. The Movie or Lone Ranger.

That's very reassuring -_- I took 5 of Super Cycle Chases at 25€ a pop... At such discount, was difficult to pass up. Oh, well, guess it's parting them then... :geek:

Don't worry. With that buy-in there is more space for profit. The cycle chase set is bigger than the ones I mentioned.

Still need to find a buyer, though. I have only got some Ninjago, Red city train, Daily Bugle and the 42000 F1´s to get rid of and my portfolio will be much better balanced. If they are not gone by 31st Dec, I´ll put them on Brick Classifieds at RRP and basta.

I feel the same way about the Crawler. I've been attempting to sell it several times on ebay/BL for 209-229€. Nada. Now I realize it was an error of judgment and just want to get rid of it. It's listed at 200€ currently, if no one buys it before New Year's, it goes to RRP and basta as you say.

I think I found your problem here, no one's going to pay €200 for the Crawler, a zero too many there :)

The crawler is selling well right now, as is 42006. I´d keep a hold of it for a while, especially as when the Volvo retires, it will be the only set with 4x4, portal axles and full remote control...

Yeah, but when will the Volvo retire, it's a 2014 flagship!! Hold it what, another 2 years (that's hoping Volvo wouldn't pull 42009 on us) and sell it for what 240-250€? Wo-hooo :boredom:
