What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Just sold a 70402/70403 Gatehouse Raid/Dragon Mountain combo. Missing the dragon, a minifig, and the stickers. $75 CAD shipped.

With the two minifigs I sold earlier this year, plus this, I'm now breaking even on the bulk lot I purchased them from. I still have a few figs for sale, plus a 100% complete Helm's Deep, dedicated to my MOC, which is now effectively free bricks. Profit one day maybe. Stoked.

By far the worst thing I did this year was not paying close attention to FBM eligibility dates.  All the rich buyers are on Amazon while I have to put on duck and pony show* just to get noticed by the bargain hunters on eBay.

*duck show is 5 times more elaborate than dog show

Which is impressive since ducks are much harder to train.

Which also proofs the middle class is shrinking.

Got stupid and impatient over the weekend and did some bad deals on eBay. Didn't take a loss on anything, but kicking myself for setting prices too low to begin with and impulsively accepting best offers. Oh well, moved some inventory and learned some lessons. Here's what I've done on eBay since last Wednesday 11/25

4x $30 40138 Holiday Train

1x $18 40125 Santa's Visit

3x $17 40125 Santa's Visit

1x $45 Holiday Bundle: 40123 Thanksgiving Feast, 40124 Winter Fun, 40125 Santa's Visit, 30286 Christmas Tree.

I took a bath selling the holiday bundle at $45, completely neglected to calculate shipping costs before setting my initial price. Somebody in Connecticut got a great deal.

Lessons learned. I had an offer to do 3 of the holiday bundle to a single buyer at $40. Double checked my shipping costs -- no way.

That's why I prefer to use the shower.
