My fees were a little lower than BA's.  Besides, I need to pay for the workshop I'm building for Santa before winter sets in.

Ok, but we'll expect pics of said workshop when completed. :D

I sold the Cafe Corner I bricklinked for $600. It was going to be my personal set but I had enough extra parts & enjoyed it so much I am going to do it again. This set is pretty easy to BL if you don't mind making a few subs. The first set I bricklinked was the GG, I would not suggest doing that one.

It sold within 5 hours of posting it on CL.

I have a few things I'm Bricklinking right now, but this is on my list.

I had never considered doing something like this but now I'm intrigued. Do you have a ballpark of what the pieces cost you? Also, it seems like something like this could turn into analysis paralysis as you try to comparison shop all of the pieces - any recommendations for how to go about tracking down so many pieces? If you want to PM me or redirect me to another thread feel free :)

Yes I'm looking forward to Marcandre's or Exciters' article on .. "How to hack a modular Using BL, CL and other secondary markets"

jaisonline Bricklink'd a 10179, now that's an adventure.  I'm very close to putting together 1 or 2 custom classic BSG Cylon Raiders that are UCS size, so I'll post some pics when I'm done with that project.  The Bat-Pod is on my list too. :P

Good thing I sold all of my series 2 Mixels before this batch of undercutters invaded eBay.  The complete set is not going to touch $90 range in a very long time

What's the going rate now?  I sold all of mine for $80 a set.  They were flying away towards the end.

It will be $109 by xmas, looking through listings no one has a lot of stock selling complete sets. When series 6 comes out, there will be another flurry of sales and drain some of the existing supply

I am not sure, to me every new wave borrows more things from the older waves, making the characters look very similar as a whole. I might be wrong, but I did not have enough of series 2 to justify waiting for xmas.

Modulars are pretty easy to Bricklink if you don't mind making some substitutions.  Cafe Corner has a handful of rare parts but their newer counterparts are relatively cheap.  Green Grocer is very expensive to Bricklink correctly because the Sand Green parts are so rare.  Doing it in another color(though would it still be "Green" Grocer?) would save a lot of money, I know some folks that have made Market Street in different colors and a few exceptions pretty cheaply.  I have BL'd Cafe Corner, UCS Millennium Falcon, and Taj Mahal, all with new, correct pieces.  Cost me $400, $900, and $700 respectively.  I did the first two 3-4 years ago before some of the part prices got out of hand, Taj Mahal I did 2 years ago.  In the end, I'm not sure you save much and it's getting harder to do all the time as others have done the same thing depleting the sources of rare parts.  10189 was by far the easiest to BL, it's just the shear amount of parts that starts to get expensive.

Too many posts about Mixels Series 2, so I'll just give my thoughts instead of quoting everyone.

- I was having better success selling them in tribes instead of complete sets.  I was making more money that way.

- I haven't been looking into complete sets, but if they are selling at $80 now, that explains why I'm not getting bites on my $30 tribes anymore.

Doing the CC cost me $400. I'll make a post on the CC thread with my experience.

It was around $85 until some people decided to sell for $60-$70 shipped.

looks like batch from the asia. so far the asian supply was minimal for S2 but looks like now it has come on the market so i am guessing it will be real long time before that supply dries.

S1 asian supply hasn't dried yet. 3 sellers with over 150 cases each. 2 are out and the one particular with over 200+ is still around. may be that one has more for the holiday season who knows....

<Requirement for 25 items sold on Amazon include FBA, or just FBM?... BA replied: both

Wait, what?  I can sell 25 items on Amazon FBA, and I'm qualified for FBM for the holiday season?  That makes no sense.  I mean... if it's true, I'm cool with that... but I didn't read it that way.  Are you sure?

I was approved last year to sell in toys solely based on FBA sales .

i was also wondering this. Is does not state that. I sell 25 items a day FBA so would lie to know. Even though i dont recommend merchant fullfilled. It comes in handy in super duper quick flip item .
