What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

That is true I'm a new member to here and eBay and I had a Harry Potter set sell within the first 8 hours of it being listed and I used the brickpicker to base my price and I was the same as the highest from the previous month but then there was a whole lot of nothing until a Star Wars set sold on it's last day.

I wouldn't use the BrickPicker prices to set prices on EBay or any other marketplace.  It's a good gauge for value of a BrickFolio as of the previous reporting period, but it's not an accurate reflection of the current market.  Use the "recently sold" filter on EBay and also browse Amazon, Bricklink, etc. to get a read on what prices other sellers have their items listed at.

Turns out most of my listings are priced at what they've been selling for recently so that's good to know :) just gotta be patient I guess

Sold a Charlotte Grand Opening minifigure set for $85 (inc ship), but was troubled that it was going to Denmark. I guess I irrationally (?) think that country is full of QFLL spies.

nice!  I was wondering how much these might fetch.  I wonder if buyer collects minfig grand opening sets from each city where a store opens

I *think* the "normal" price for these is in the $50 range and there's likely a short (how short?) window to sell at a premium for new stores. Don't know how long it will last, but I have one left for sale and I'll see if I can get $100 just for yucks.

Most of my offers have come from Denmark and Belgium, so these guys are looking to pay well over $110 after international shipping.

Sold a 21303 Wall-E for $91 + shipping on ebay.  After fees, etc, made about $29 profit =~ 57% (+ TRU rewards).  I was gonna put this story in "what did you buy today", but I sold it too quick...

2 days ago, I was at my TRU where I met a fellow BP'er (I think).  He looked like me... walking back-and-forth in the Lego aisle... looking at his phone... so I said something like , "Hey! You look like a Lego collector / investor."

He confirmed.

I said, "Do you follow Brickpicker?" ... he said 'yes'. I said, "Me too! I'm Ken-triple-x !"  And he told me his name... but I didn't quite hear it correctly. Sure I could've asked again, but I felt maybe I was already giving off a bit of a 'weirdo' vibe.... introducing myself that way... is this guy even really a Brickpicker?  ... or is he just humoring me before he calls for store security? So anyway, I let it go... then I saw what he had in his hands... "They've got Wall-E here?!"  He said yes, this was the last one, but he wasn't too sure about keeping it... looking at his phone some more... he then offered it to me. But I said, "Nah... I think I'll wait on this one... not sure that I really need to buy that right now." So he put it back on the shelf and walked out.  I stood there and thought about it for another minute... decided to pick it up with my 20% off coupon (out the door $51).  Wasn't sure it'd be a good flip right now, but thought we might build it at home.  As I was going through checkout, I saw the mystery Brickpicker going back to the Lego section again (maybe he, too, changed his mind)? Anyway, I got home, and saw prices on ebay and... "flip, flip, flipadelphia!"

So ... thank you mystery Brickpicker... I owe you one.

I hope your mysterious BP'er comes forward.

Meanwhile, some of us text each other all day long.  Or fly across the country to meet one another (it may have been some sort of Star Wars convention that we both happened to be at, but I like to think it was me).
