Popular Post brickvoyeur
Quote I'll read the Nightmare Before Christmas story this year, kids. Twas the night before Clearance And all through the aisle Steamrollers were packed Into my cart like a pile Exo Suits were hung In the storage with care Knowing that in a decade They still will be there Sergeant Jyn Erso was nestled Deep under my bed With terrible proportions And a face that looks dead Wonder woman in her armor And cheetah in her cap The lasso of truth will tell you That this set is pure crap When out on my doorstep A noise shook me awake ShopJustice still delivering Olaf Flat as a pancake Faster shipping than FedEx The turds as they came I cried and I pouted As I called them by name "Now, Dots! now, Mario! Now Lego Movie 1 and 2! On, Raiders! on, Mighty Dinos! On, Takodana and constractables too! To the depths of the dumpster! Stacked 50 feet tall Now throw away! throw away! throw away all!" Each year I make efforts To donate a bit more But Toys for tots sends a bill For returning them to my door Since I can't give them away I'll dig a big pit It's the final solution To get rid of this sh!t I shook as I laughed At the thought of relieving this pain It was nearly 3am So I looked quite insane As I poured the kerosene I cheered with delight "I'll light you on fire, So you're out of my sight" Edited December 7, 2022 by brickvoyeur 15
tabolton314
where did you buy for $30 for mixels that's a great deal ! Fred Meyer had a bogo 40% off almost all lego, and they put the mixels out early. Edited May 24, 2015 by tabolton314 extra words
Alpinemaps
Fred Meyer had a bogo 40% off almost all lego, and they put the mixels out early.Nicely done. That's a fantastic buy-in to be able to QFLL S5. Best I've got around here is 10% off, not worth the effort to try.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that FM has a sale the same time series 6 comes out. They did with series 4 but I was to much a newb to reap the benefits there. Sandwraith
Sold a 10221 for $1200 CAD and have sold around 19 Jurassic World polys the past couple days at $18 CAD each. Not a bad week!
justapilgrim
My eBay is bugged or something. I sold 3 sets of series 5 mixels $60-$65 range (same $30 buy in), but my buy it now ones don't show up in search. One auction still hasn't paid so kinda frustrating

Very solid returns on the SSD, that's a nice chuck of funds. I always chicken out/don't have the patience to hold long enough for sets to hit <$1000

I've since updating my settings to block buyers with no Paypal account. Maybe do the same?
exciter1
You guys still aren't using the "Immediate Payment Required" for Buy It Now?
oneknightr
You guys still aren't using the "Immediate Payment Required" for Buy It Now? I know this is silly but I can't seem to figure out how to do that when setting up my listing. I don't understand why eBay doesn't have a handy checkbox that's available on the main list your item page.

I don't understand why eBay doesn't have a handy checkbox that's available on the main list your item page.If on a desktop try this.At the "Select how you'll be paid" section, click on "add or remove options". It should be right next to "Select how you'll be paid".That should open a dialog box where you can check several options. The one you're looking for is "Require immediate payment through PayPal when a buyer uses Buy It Now", it is first in my list.Click Save. You should now have an option on your listing template to "Require immediate payment when buyer uses Buy It Now"Click that box and finish creating your listing. That checkbox may come unchecked if switch back and forth between Auction and BIN. It also may come unchecked if you select Best Offer. Just keep an eye on it.

exciter1
Slowest time for eBay sellers?Well, it kind of depends on what you're selling and what your prices are. You can move and buy items at all kinds of prices.
Darth_Raichu
I sold a NISB 4842 Hogwarts Castle for 400 € shipped. Every time someone sold a 4842 or the smaller Hogwart set, I was reminded of my foolish decision of choosing Diagon Alley over Hogwarts
