Taj Mahal 10189 Used Complete $1400 plus shipping

Eiffel Tower 10181 Used no instructions $1000 plus shipping

Emerald Night Train 10194 Used Complete $335 plus shipping

I purchased all of them from a used bulk lot on Craigslist and still have Grand Carousel 10196 and Winter Village Toy Shop 10199 left to sell from the bulk lot I bought for $1300 total. Great day indeed! Plus the Fire Brigade from that lot (but that one is happily sitting in my own collection)

SSD 10221 for $725

Decided to liquidate the second of the three I had. Going to hold number three for awhile. I'll either build it and sell or sell down the line.

Nice!  This on ebay?  My goal was to long-term hold until they hit 1k but they jumped so high so fast maybe I'll move one or two now so I can rub the hundred-dollar bills in my wife's face screaming 'I TOLD YOU SO!!!!'  You just can't put a price on that kind of fun.

Soooo, on topic.  Haven't sold much in awhile but did sell off another 20215 MBA and a Lion Chi Temple both around $145 on the bay.

I think that you will maximize your revenue by trading it plus cash for a used one or finding a used on on sale :)

Ex Astris, Scientia.

I like this idea. Really like this idea!

That's why I sold the first one. It was a politically correct move in the household. Not that the wife needed proof - the proof was in the Mixels. But I had promised her when I bought number two and three that I would sell one of them within 45 days.

Oh it was on eBay. I was shocked, since prices seemed depressed over the last couple of weeks but I'm guessing my rep and my Lego sales history (and free shipping) helped.

This past weekend, I sold 3 Phantoms 75048 on Amazon at about $30 shipped.  I bought them at Kmart who's had them at $19.50 on-and-off over the past several weeks.  With a few SYW surprise points, and a discount gift card, I found I could get my cost to $16 each (or less).  Light weight packaging made them 13 oz to ship out first class (fingers crossed, hope they don't come back smashed). In the end, I net about $5 each. I'm sure bigger sellers (with greater scale) could do even better.

Creative Tower 10664 for $109.99+$7.49 shipping credit

I'm super stoked you sold this because today when someone tried to lowball me on my creative tower on craigs list I told him I'd only knock off 5 bucks and referred him to amazon where the price was $119.99!  Heh heh.  The circle of life, or something.

Oh, so creative tower on craigs list.  $75.
