The shippingcosts alone... they have a contract with USPS and FEDEX at least in US. most of the sets { except the exclusives and large sets} would be less than 2lb including the manuals and the shipping box. from what i have heard "the cost of shipping round trip" is less than $1.75 so the cheapest plan is about $25/month. so 3 sets a month . they are making over $19/subscriber. Put up another one at my next price step of $400 + shipping thinking it would take a few months, but someone took me up on it today. So we can now say HH has cracked $400 on ebay. Of course the buyer has zero feedback but they paid right away. And I'll do signature confirmation and insure the package to reduce the likelihood of any funny business. Wow, great to see it above $400. I have one on craigslist and amazon but not for that high. I even have a sheet of lego halloween stickers that are a promo item, I will throw it in and hopefully get some more money for it. I can upload a pic if anyone is curious what the stickers look like. I bought it for $24 a couple months ago as part of a bulk lot off of my local Craig's. Also just sold a 6990 space monorail and 6921 monorail accessory track bundle for $400 shipped. Both used complete with instructions but no boxes. Bought them for $100 also off of my local Craig's a couple of months ago. Very few sales. Wish I had stockpiled a lot more. Got it clearance from TRU, 3 total. NetBricks people (lego rental service) bought Forrest Police 4440 (99+shipping credit) and tecnic helicopter 9396 (139.99+shipping credit) from me. something is up with them folks they bought 5 king castles and 8 x-wings from me. I know they have been buying in "bulk" from other Amazon sellers as well.
