What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Since we have the buying thread, I thought we could have a selling thread too. Let guys, and girls, let others know sets they have moved, maybe returns that they realized and the timeframe it took to get there. If this is lame, well, I guess it will fall to the depths of the forum, here goes. Sold a sealed 7199 IJ Temple of Doom for $200, purchased for $115 6 months ago I have others, but this is just to give you an idea.

Sold a 50+ set lot.  I'm hoping the sets fit in two 26x26x26 boxes.

It wasn't so much about the profit on this sale. I wanted to free up space and funds for my recent TH and HH purchases.  All the sets and polybags avg $34 cost. I sold for about $44 plus postage.

Where did you sell it? How well did you do?

I updated my post above.

Don't normally post what I sell, but this morning sold a lot of 10 HP The Lab 30111 polybags for $85 and free shipping. Very happy about this purchase. Bought them for $1.10 each over a year ago. Saved quite a bit on shipping too, since they all went to the same person! :D

Sold two winter village cottages, one yesterday and one today, for $198 each shipped. Bought them at $70 clearance from the lego store two years ago.

Sold a lot of 3 complete 8014 for $50+ shipping. They were from one of my last yard sale Lego lots I bought.

I need a better store I have 3 8014 for $29.99 that hasn't sold yet

8403 City House = $100

Stupid me, I had several opportunities to get these City sets at deep discounts and only bought a couple full sets. I wish I had 10 more of each now.

All for $225

City: Space Moon Buggy (3365)
City: Satellite Launch Pad (3366)
City: Space Shuttle (3367)
City: Space Centre (3368)

I also sold two of the four Ultimate Brick Boxes (6166) I picked up yesterday for $95 each.

Not bad. Nothing in there was exploding. I am doing some of the same. Try to grab some good prices this Christmas for things. If I get a 50% profit, Im good as the space is worth more.

Craigslist sale. Four new sets to one buyer. A-Wing, MHC, Desert Skiff, and City Park Cafe for $150. No eBay, paypal, or shipping fees, so I cleared just over $80 profit. The customer was an older couple buying Christmas gifts for their grand kids, and mentioned they might be looking for more for birthday gifts. I wish all Craig's deals went this smoothly.

I need to give this a try, but the whole Craigslist scene still creeps me out.

My last CL sale was similar, a grandpa buying for his grandson and the kid was there picking out what he wanted.  Went better than I expected as he let the kid pick out 2 sets and 2 polys.

Also sold 2 Orc Forges tonight.  Had a 3rd sold yesterday but buyer cancelled.

How much are you getting for the Orc Forges?

How much are you getting for the Orc Forges?

$60 shipped.  Not much profit, but they have largely stagnated after an initial gain after they disappeared.

I need to give this a try, but the whole Craigslist scene still creeps me out.

For the most part, the majority of my Craig's sales have been with "normal" people, with a few repeat customers. You can usually get a good feel for a person through the conversation ahead of time to set up the deal. The people who lowball you are usually the strange ones, and since I don't give my inventory away I never meet them.

Where I get leery is when I'm buying used sets/lots from others, because who knows what kind of person I am about to meet.
