Popular Post brickvoyeur Posted December 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) Quote I'll read the Nightmare Before Christmas story this year, kids. Twas the night before Clearance And all through the aisle Steamrollers were packed Into my cart like a pile Exo Suits were hung In the storage with care Knowing that in a decade They still will be there Sergeant Jyn Erso was nestled Deep under my bed With terrible proportions And a face that looks dead Wonder woman in her armor And cheetah in her cap The lasso of truth will tell you That this set is pure crap When out on my doorstep A noise shook me awake ShopJustice still delivering Olaf Flat as a pancake Faster shipping than FedEx The turds as they came I cried and I pouted As I called them by name "Now, Dots! now, Mario! Now Lego Movie 1 and 2! On, Raiders! on, Mighty Dinos! On, Takodana and constractables too! To the depths of the dumpster! Stacked 50 feet tall Now throw away! throw away! throw away all!" Each year I make efforts To donate a bit more But Toys for tots sends a bill For returning them to my door Since I can't give them away I'll dig a big pit It's the final solution To get rid of this sh!t I shook as I laughed At the thought of relieving this pain It was nearly 3am So I looked quite insane As I poured the kerosene I cheered with delight "I'll light you on fire, So you're out of my sight" Edited December 7, 2022 by brickvoyeur 15 18 Quote
Ciglione Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Just sold my used 7662 Trade Federation MTT. Happy! Quote
lodibricks Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Deluxe Blue Brick Box - 5508, just flipped in less than 2 weeks. Purchased for $50, sold for $130. I don't understand why people would pay more for generic boxes of bricks, but thankfully they do. I still have a few Black Friday boxes on a shelf. Quote

I still have a few Black Friday boxes on a shelf. I have at least 5 of those Black Friday brick boxes I picked up for $10 each, so they should reap a nice little profit. I sold some more Hero Factory bags today I purchased during KMart clearance. 1 Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Speaking about minifigs, sold a chrome TC-14 today. Local deal for Shelob's Attack for $40 cash too...good margin. Who would have thought Shelob might be the best performing set? Quote
Fcbarcelona101 Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Who would have thought Shelob might be the best performing set? You have Sam to thank for that....as always. Real hero of the series. 2 Quote

weakside Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 finally sold another 41999 crawler... been awhile. $450 is not bad, even after fees at least get some profit back for other sets. another 5 to go, wouldn't mind just selling these off before 2015. maybe save one mint box for personal collection. 2 rovers on local deals, $70 cash each. don't mind at all... just wanted to make some sales this week to pay towards exo suits. will hold for higher price as stock dwindles. spener90 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Just got a fraud notification from PayPal to react the funds. I knew it was too good to be true! My curiosity is why you would even list something at that price? Odds are that the person buying it is either trying to scam you, or accidentally purchased it. I'm sure I have things that are overpriced in my store, but nothing that is exorbitantly high. Maybe it's just me who feels this way, but I also don't like taking advantage of stupid people. (Go to 1:27) As I stated, I had one left in which I wanted to preserve my listing which was a bin 30 day listing so I jacked the price up thinking no one would buy it. I figured something was peculiar about the transaction and was going to contact the buyer when I got home. They ended up putting a fraud claim in before I could do anything. Quote
hepcatpunk Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 3 more Wolvie's this weekend @ $70...time to raise the price for the handful I have left. Quote

jeff_14 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Sold another $7 Wolverines Chopper Showdown for $65 on ebay, and a Shelob Attacks and Orc Forge on Craigslist to a guy the next office tower over from me for $90 total. One of the nice things about being here in Toronto doing this is that all of the Canadian buyers flock to me for ebay sales since I'm willing to ship here (most US sellers won't for whatever reason). This is also the second sale in a week I've made from Craigslist to someone in the same postal code. It's not only cheaper but also faster to walk these sets over for sale than to walk them to a post office. 1 Quote

stephen_rockefeller Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Can everyone start also including what their item sold for. I speak for many when I say that I really don't care what you sold as much as how much it sold for. Thanks! 3 Quote
