Very limited Hobbit and LOTR sets on TRU Canada site

Just noticed that there are only 3 sets per theme on the site, and they do not have half of the new sets for each theme at all. No Dul Guldur battle, Council of Elrond, Laketown, etc. Very weird.

Racoons are eating away at the Hobbit and LOTR sets in Walmart and Target by me on Long Island. Almost zero on the shelves.

 

Need to move those garbage bags with that magic smell closer to the Lego aisle.

my TRU has pretty bare shelves too in the hobbit section. it's like they aren't stocking them.

I was at the Calgary store on Thursday and the rep told me they are being retired for good. I asked about Unexpected Gathering specifically and he responded by saying that only the 2014 sets were going to be stocked from now one. One other thing to note, he mentioned that, and I quote "we`ll probably get one more LOTR wave later in the year, but that`s it." It`s a direct quite, yes it`s from a Lego store employee with all their unreliability, but it seems to fit. Everything is dried up in my neck of the woods, save for Barrel Escape, Wargs, and Shelob, and has been for quite some time now. If anyone wants any more of the sets, I suggest getting them asap.
