stephen_rockefeller Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I am not really worried about it but the numbers for JP this month in the price guide are way off! The last 4 sales on eBay for new JPs were around 13 bucks?? No way that is right. Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 The bottom fell out of my brickfolio this month lol Quote
Rich B Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 The bottom fell out of my brickfolio this month lol Yeah same here, mine dropped the most it ever has. This time of year blows for Lego sales. Also the amount people selling on eBay now isn't helping. So many more people selling Lego than there was 4-5 years ago when I started. Quote
jaisonline Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 http://www.ebay.com/csc/i.html?LH_ItemCondition=3&LH_Sold=1&_sacat=0&_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=lego+9516&_sop=13 i'm seeing prices above $90 with shipping. where did you see $13 completed auctions? Quote
SirSydney Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Before y'all panic and jump out of a window, I think you should consider the fact that many peoplevlist the set number when they piece out the mini figs from a set. This would account for the low eBay sale price. You can see this if you go to some of the last pages on the eBay listing. Quote

Ed Mack Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 There are some adjustments being made because of the new data from the UK, Australia and Germany. Sit tight... Quote

derickb81 Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 The bottom fell out of my brickfolio this month lol i wouldn't say the bottom ell out of mine but it was down about 10% Quote
emes Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 If any of you would like to sell yours, I will handsomely reward you $15 for each NISB Jabba's Palace. You have to include shipping though. I think that's about ~15% above the price guide! Quote
sadowsk1 Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Amazon.com stock was once worth four bucks. Just saying things might be able to turn around for Jabbas Palace too! Quote
wesman888 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I can't believe no one has picked up that this was meant as an April Fools joke. Check out the date of the original article which is 31st March. If it really was that offensive, the set would have been pulled by the TLG from their website as a show of good faith at the very least. I agree as well. It's still not a bad price if anyone get it for around 92 bucks.. I got a few sets under that price at Target... Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Lol this wasn't an April fools joke at all. The original.story broke well before 1 April. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Well after all the hubbub, Amazon is fully stocked and loaded with these at a discount of $95.96. Quote
jaisonline Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Well after all the hubbub, Amazon is fully stocked and loaded with these at a discount of $95.96. I'm still too spoiled from their $86~ sales to pay $96. Lol Quote
jaisonline Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Please remember to use this link so Brickpicker gets a Clickthru. http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Star-Wars-Jabbas-Palace/dp/B007Q0OVCK? Quote
Jeff Mack Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 The new data is running now but I noticed that Jabbas Palace was done. Looks like 820 sets were sold during the month of April while all this press was out. That's a nice number of sets sold http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=9516-1 Quote
Veegs Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Crikey! That is a lot of Hutt movement. Despite the SW sets as a whole dropping under the CAGR average for all themes, the good original trilogy sets appear to be doing well. Here's hoping that Durga the Hutt (or any of the other Hutts) make it into the new trilogy & Lego sets. I love me some Hutts, regardless of the controversy they stir up. Quote
Fcbarcelona101 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I don't know if I'm reading something wrong, but doesn't the chart says that 820 were sold during April? I can't see May on the graph yet. Quote
Jeff Mack Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Yep i was ahead of myself. Its actually more interesting now that the May numbers are there. It spiked big time and came crashing down big time Quote
