New Catalog Format

Did anyone else get the new Winter 2014 catalog yet?  There is a very noticable change in page format in this catalog.  The sets are all in closely aranged boxes which look much sleeker than the old format.  However, most sets have lost the description paragraph so that more sets can be included on each page.  Only the large sets have paragraphs.  Also, there were only two spreads covering Star Wars Lego!  Does anyone else remember back in 2007 when the catalogs had seven or eight spreads of Star Wars!  Those were the days...

What are your thoughts on the new catalog?

It's January, there is a bunch of new sets, and there is the LEGO Movie which they have to promote.  I think this catalog is a$$ personally.  Not to much that interests me on it.  Lot of new stuff to smush in the pages, but not much substance as far as i'm concerned.

Didn't even notice the new format was only looking for the Star Wars planet replacements (can't think of the name), I guess I'll just have to hold my breath for 6 months.

I can remember flipping through 7-8 pages of SW sets back in 2007. Now, they are just trying to cram as many sets as they can in the catalog.
