bibious
Well its a dangerous thing when you search eBay Lego Star Wars ending soonest... Just ended up buying a used but complete Lego Sandcralwer 10144 for 291 all in. The set is USED but includes all pieces with box/manuals and decals on sheets (never applied.) I know i overpaid but really looking forward to building it and displaying it for a while; hopefully can resell down the road for a profit ? Ed Mack
Great set. Very underrated as well. Love the detail to this non UCS set.
bibious
I'm really looking forward to building it. The vehicle is one of my favorites from the Movies.
stephen_rockefeller
It isn't always about making money.....if you wanted it and you are gonna have a good time building it then mission accomplished.
Huskers1236
Very fun build for a giant rusted bucket of crap I also have one used with instructions/box/unused stickers but it is one of my favorites. Won't get sold unless a new one comes out or they ever do a UCS of it.

You get to build it (don't apply the stickers, keep them new), enjoy it, & sell it sometime down the road. If Lego does release another one, it will very likely pale in comparison to this one (unless they do a UCS one) - Enjoy the set!
jaisonline
I agree. Great set, I put this up there with the original Batman Tumbler, Imperial Star Destroyer, orig Jabba's Barge, etc. when it comes to FUN. The Sandcrawler is my fav Star Wars set / vehicle. I agree about not applying the decals. If needed, apply printed scanned decals.
jaisonline
No minifigs but it is supposedly complete with box and instructions. I have 2 or would be bidding on it myself. Decent starting price despite no minifigs.http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=251335941373
stackables
$150 without figs doesn't look like much of a deal to me. Going to cost around another 40-50 dollars to get the minifigs. Jawas sell for around $10 each by themselves.
jaisonline
Paying around $200-$210 total for this set is decent enough. Is it a steal? No. It is better than avg, yes. Please remember the manual and box are worth a bit themselves; loose sets are usually missing one or the another.
boxofcorey
Thanks for posting, not a bad deal if someone wants it. I'm still holding out hope that this is one of the sets they eventually reissue.

I'm still holding out hope that this is one of the sets they eventually reissue. Agreed! I've been waiting one for a long time so I purchased one last month and then another for an investment (the very dirty one I posted about). If / when Lego refreshes it, i hope it is the same size as 10144 (unlike what they did w/ the newer Sail Barge).
DoNotInsertIntoMouth
Not awful, but I wish they actually had pictures. Little too much money to take a chance.

comicblast
Geez...whoever was able to score this, got it for $158.75. I think that's a great price, even without minifigures, since it is kind of compensated by the box and instructions which aren't exactly the easiest to come by! jaisonline
Anyone here win it? If so, I'll be willing to buy / trade the box for cash. Then the cash could be used for the minifigs. Just be sure when buying Lego Jawas, the capes are brown and not reddish brown (like Kenobi's cape). Oh yeah, a "like" by the winner would be appreciated since I posted the link - ha
jaisonline
It appears we'll be getting a refresh. No official confirmation but we'll know soon enough with Toy fair around the corner. The Sail Barge was the first Star Wars refresh I've experienced since investing and it hasn't been pretty. Take a look at the price recent price reports from BP and Bricklink (pics attached). There's little demand for it. Sad thing is that 75020 isn
Huskers1236
Sold my used copy for this very reason. It's bound to be better than the original and while most won't know a new one is coming out is the best time to dump them, in my mind at least. I was more than happy to sell for $250 and will probably be able to get the new one for that price, with updated everything. Can't wait. MartinP
Unfortunately, I do not have an original Sandcrawler. I wish I did, but I do not. I mostly agree with what you are saying about the remake of this set. The demand will go down and so will the price. It may be a good time to unload it before the new one is released this spring. Usually the minifigs are improved but the overall set design is hit or miss. While Jabba's Palace and the Skiff sets were great refreshes, the current Sail Barge is "meh". Most people will just buy the current available one at retail (or less). Save a ton of money and it's a much easier purchase also. This, demand for the older one declines. Migration
I have already reduced my exposure on this set. Had eight, down to two. I will more than likely get rid of those in the next month or so. I just don't see 10144 going much higher than it already is in a time frame that I am comfortable with.
jaisonline
Add 6210 to the list. The Imp Star Destroyer looks to be getting refreshed.Turn down the volume since the video has music.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPnYedulMP0
