binici Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Hey all, Does anyone know how long it takes to void the shipping label (tracking) and receive a refund? I screwed up on the eBay shipping label, so had to redo it and still haven't had any updates (been over a week) on the voided label transaction... Thanks, Merry Christmas! Quote
justafrog Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 If you voided the label on eBay within the time allowed it typically takes 7 to 10 days to get the refund - the USPS wants to verify that the label doesn't in fact get used. You'll get an email notification that it's been refunded to you. Quote
akohns Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Yeah, it usually takes longer than one week. It always takes so long that I forget I voided a label when the refund comes thought. Quote

Just happened to me today, got a 2.09 refund and thought someone had issued me a partial refund for a purchase. Then I remembered I voided a label like 2 weeks ago. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Its actually funny - I have had some immediately voided and others that take forever. I think some have not been refunded too even though I never used them. Stupid. They should do it like FEDEX so you only get charged when its delivered. It would be fairer top since to me I shouldn't have to pay to ship a package they end up losing. Quote
binici Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Thanks everyone. I'll look for the refund soon, otherwise, is there a contact email for eBay if it doesn't go through within the next week or two? Quote

If you don't get it, call, don't email. eMail support is always useless, phone support only useless about half the time. Quote
