BennyKJohnson
Hello, First off, if this post is not permitted on the forums, just delete it. Often I find myself browsing US online stores and always being surprised about how good you have it in the US with the price of Lego. Many of these stores don't ship to Australia and one of those is the Lego US store which is probably the worst due to its strict policy on Freight Forwarders. I am willing pay for this service say $10 per package forwarded, and even a little more if you went to local retailer and purchased a set and shipped it to Australia. Obviously there are issues of trust. So I'm looking for someone who is fairly trusted on these forums, good ebay feedback and is a good communicator. If you are interested and live in the US. Please reply. Thank You
brickolodon
10.00 for a box of 1000s LEGOs?...or just one set.
TheDarkness
Yeah I can't see someone doing it for $10 when they could resell that order for more.
Jackson
Do you have an account with a freight-forwarding company in the United States? If so, why not just buy from eBay and Amazon and have the items shipped to that freight-forwarding company?
jaredseiders
On Amazon, I have lots of people purchase me and have items shipped to a freight forwarder. Many of these are located in Florida, and some in California. I'm guessing because they are port cities for South America and Asia respectively. My guess is a freight forwarding company would charge more than $10 an item?
dbost01
Just not worth it for 10 dollars an item. You will need a friend for that.
Jackson
I guess I don't understand what the OP is asking. You want someone to buy a set and then ship it to Australia for $10 more than he paid? That's cute.
rcdb1984
I think he means.....set cost 100 dollars. He pays you 110 + shipping to send to him. If you buy 2 100 sets. it's 210 + shipping. So you want to make 100 bucks, have him buy 10 sets.
dbost01
yep...it would have to be a big shipment and a big payoff to be worth the time and effort.
