kunfuzd Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Since my venture into Lego investing almost 3 months ago, I've had 3 errors in my favor in the last 3 weeks. Without going into too much detail, they include: Refund where the price difference was swapped with sale price. Website price match & BOGO 50% error resulting in half the items being BOGO 50% twice. Miscount on the number of sets shipped. These errors have occurred from 3 different, large retailers without my influence and found out after the fact. I'm going to chalk this up to human error, holiday rush, BF, CM, etc... I have asked family and friends about what they would do. The answers were interesting to say the least... Most said that the errors would be found out eventually but I don't need to volunteer the information... Has this happened to you? Would your opinions/actions change if it was $1, $10, $100, or $1000? Quote
Anakinisvader Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 The definition of integrity is: doing what is right even when no one is watching. Quote
waddamon Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I agree. Do unto others as you would have them do to you. Works every time if this principle is lived by. Quote
@rtisan Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Firm believer in karma myself. Goes around comes around, you know? Integrity shouldn`t be trampled on to gain a little bit more ahead. I would try and contact the customer service department of each retailer and ask what you should do. Who knows, they may say "screw it" and let you keep the discount/items, in that case you`ve gotten lucky the legit way. But at least you`de know you did the right thing. Quote
