stackables
I received a couple of hobbit sets that were damaged. I sent an email to tru stating the boxes were damaged. I received this response: "Thank you for contacting the "R" Us family! We are sorry that some items in your order arrived slightly crushed and damaged looking. We will request a credit, but we do need additional information. Which items were crushed/damaged. This credit will be processed within 2-3 business days to your original method of payment, at which time you will receive an email at confirming the credit. You may return this item to your local store or back to our warehouse for a refund. If you would like to return the item to your local store, please bring a copy of your email confirmation and your packing slip with you to the store to ensure you are refunded the full item amount. If you would rather return the product to our warehouse, we would be happy to issue a prepaid return label via email that will allow you to drop the item off at your local carrier's office. Please respond to this email if you would like to take advantage of this option so that we can arrange for the label to be sent. In the event that you are interested in a replacement order, please call us at the number listed below for assistance from a Customer Service Specialist. We would also like to offer you 10% off your next order with Toys
fendiixx
I read it as your getting a refund for the 2 sets once you send them back and then 20% off your next order

How I interpreted this as well. 50 SSDs, here I come. Ya no kidding! By all means, take advantage of this compensation for your "inconvenience". I`d say it`s time to build a 1:1 scale SSD out of SSDs and stick it under your tree made out of SSD`s!
stackables
Might just keep the sets. I obviously knew I could get a refund. The wording of the responses just didn't sound clear. A proper reply would say once we get notification that you returned the items, we will give you a full refund of the 2 items.

Unfortunately you got TRU's Customer Service employee with a Craigslist degree.
stackables
Well, thought I would post an update to this thread. Just got an email stating I received "A credit for your returned order". I never returned the sets. So my initial interpretation of the email was correct. I was getting a refund without returning the sets plus an additional 20% off my next order. I say that is a good deal I guess that makes up for all the rewards points I let expire because the lack of deals to use them on. I still don't see why they would let me keep the sets and still get a refund unless they assumed the sets were too damaged. I guess I will not look the gift horse in the mouth.
