Are store displays worth buying?

How collectable are store displays and are they a good investment?

I think it just depends on the person. Some people don't care for them, since you can't really "play" with the sets once they're in displays. I tend to disagree, and really like the displays LEGO's put out, especially the Jek-14 4 foot SW one.
