Bold-Arrow
I think their will be a new MF by the end of the year in some shape and form later in the year . I see 7965 peeking towards beginning of spring and if the price is right im selling most then and holding on to a couple.
Veegs
hold the presses - http://community.brickpicker.com/topic/12877-10249-winter-toy-shop/?p=395313 Interesting if true...I'm sure that most of the sets are already in progress for this calendar year, so it isn't actually that big of a surprise that there will be no UCS MF. I see 7965 peeking towards beginning of spring and if the price is right im selling most then and holding on to a couple. That is where I have been at sell them in the spring and keep 1 or 2. This new article I am sure will excite many on here having 10179s and disappoint others who do not. I am not sure what to believe at this point. They can make a $400 Death Star that sells so well they keep it going on forever, a $300-400 UCS AT AT or a $400 Hellicarrier but they cannot make a $600 MF. I may buy the article but I do not buy the reasoning behind it.
stephen_rockefeller
Where did the rumor of a new UCS falcon come from anyway? I'm pretty sure it just came from a few random people who don't want to cough up 3 Gs to get a 10179......hardly the basis for a solid rumor. Ed Mack
The Hoth Base UCS rumor, along with a UCS AT-AT makes the most sense to me. A 7965 would fit nicely in the bay of a large Hoth set. The Falcon play set rumor has been around a long time and this comment refers to it once again.
Val-E
Has anyone actually obtained one from lego shop with the latest discount? EBay Spain is now down to less than 5 on sale so either most sellers have got rid of theirs or they are hoarding for the future. Prices spiked at 200 euros which is quite respectable and have now fallen back to 160 once the Christmas frenzy has died down.

It would have to be hella size for a 7965 to fit in it for sure! After reading asharerin's post in the other thread, I'm more excited about the UCS AT-AT. I can see it now, there will be a pictures sold on etsy with herds of AT-ATs, 2 UCS's as the parents and 3-4 75054s as the kids, wandering Siberia in the dead of winter! NWL14
well that article/conversation did mention there was a different Millennium Falcon... with lights and new features. So this tells me there is a chance the Lego Group might release a new Millennium Falcon (non-UCS). whether it has lights or not. It would make a whole lot of sense for them to make a new TFA Falcon and release it right around the time the new movie comes out next Christmas. That's good business from their perspective. Or perhaps they'll release it on Jan. 1, 2016. That would give people with 7965 to make a very nice profit during Christmas time.
Jules_K
My mid-December order from Amazon.de finally shipped, they must have got more stock in - I am very surprised to be honest considering it is sold out pretty much everywhere.

Yinchuan
It would appear that the MF is no longer available at TRU. Cannot add it to a cart. End game?

toycrazedchris
I wonder why 75095 UCS Tie is not on that list.
Val-E
so 6 months more or less to get rid off remaining stock and perhaps keep one or two back for completists. Agreed?
exciter1
I wonder why 75095 UCS Tie is not on that list. It's not a Fall set, or part of the general line, as far as we know.

tmock12
So this is a fact now?? Haven't you heard? All the die hard original trilogy fans just fell in love with Elsa and now fully support Disney's buying of Star Wars. Because of this they only want the new sets. trekgate502
Everyone is right. No one will want anything old. The current X Wing, the just retired Tie Fighter which everyone told me not to buy at 70 that goes for 150, the UCS X Wing when there will not be another UCS X Wing for a while or longer, the 9765 last original trilogy Millennium Falcon is all trash and no one should want any of it. Good to know. It is interesting that as an extremely avid Star Wars fan for years I did not know any of this. Guess I should throw it all out in the trash.

Val-E
I see both sides to the argument for selling now and holding. Xmas was a great time for flipping all these sets but I definitely would want to reduce numbers on these sets over the coming months as I was selling them mainly as children
