BrickPick3r
I need some advice from experience buyers and sellers. I recently bought a used lego set stated as 100% complete. But after i build it, one piece is missing. It's a common piece that can be found on brick link. But it's a bit troublesome to just order one piece. Could anyone give me some suggestions? Should i let the seller know or ask him to search for the piece for me? Or i should just accept it and go for brick link? Thanks
matt1147
I've been on both ends of this scenario. As a buyer. I politely pointed out the missing pieces and even quoted the bricklink cost with shipping and asked the seller how they would like to handle it. The seller refunded the amount. As a seller, I did not mind at all to locate the piece and send it 1st class.

Majority of sellers will take care of it.
BrickPick3r
I might try asking him to look it for me. May be he has a spare of it. But i feel a bit odd to ask for a refund of $1-2 lol

BrickPick3r
Try to get it from LEGO Shop at Home2013-12-03-03-32-53.png Thanks. I might wait for another missing piece so that i can order it together
Guest TabbyBoy
Be prepared that it can take at least a month to get a piece from LEGO Shop at Home so Bricklink may be the best option if you're as impatient as me. My new boxed Unimog was missing the reel for the hook. It's rare but, sometimes happens.
stephen_rockefeller
I'm sorry I need to clarify......it's fast free and easy to order. Yes is does take a while to get your order. I think the last time I ordered a piece it took 2 weeks to get to me.
