hxckid88 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 did anyone else receive this email today or even have a clue on what I am talking about? Quote
hxckid88 Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 I csnt seem to paste my invitation in. But if you go to wholesale . ebay. Com you should get the idea Quote
justafrog Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The eBay Wholesale Deals is a third party (authorized by eBay when they sell them the mailing list of sellers) that sends out "Wholesale Deals" ads for their site. Most of us who've checked the "deals" find there's rarely anything there bothering with - most of what they sell "wholesale" can be found readily on eBay from many other sellers, generally at lower prices or at razor-thin markups to the wholesale deals. One or two folks I know have reported occasionally finding something worthwhile for resale there, but it's rare enough that I find sourcing elsewhere more productive. It's not a phishing scheme or anything, though, they purchase the mailing list from eBay and are authorized by them. Quote
hxckid88 Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 Gotcha. Thanks for the insight. I've only sold thirty items on ebay past month and five of those were lego sets. Just thought it was odd I was getting '' special invite ''. Quote
akohns Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 What? The ebay Wholesale invite? Edit: Yeah not usually worth your time. I've never found anything worthwhile on there. Quote
